From the moment White Lily Cookie said she wanted to live with herself intact, I knew she'd do it, and I knew nothing- not death itself, not any trial, not the person she loves most- would stop her, because White Lily Cookie is perhaps the one character in this game I think could do truly anything she desired to. Her mind is so sharp, her heart is so bountiful, and her will is so strong. To me, White Lily Cookie might be the unstoppable object of this game.
Which isn't always a good thing, we've seen the nightmares her resolution have caused in the past. She is the reason for the destruction of The Blueberry Academy, she is the reason for Dark Enchantress Cookie, and Dark Enchantress Cookie inherited that immovable determination from her, using it for the worst acts imaginable. If she had been allowed to keep her memories, after The Blueberry Academy, she would have come back with better calculations, better handiwork, and stronger resolution, and it would have ended it catastrophy all the same. She says as much.
Beyond the more obvious damages she's caused, White Lily Cookie has also hurt her friends immensely on an interpersonal level. She self isolates, she cuts other people out, she will listen to nobody, when she has her mind set on something.
There is much focus on the fact that Pure Vanilla Cookie did not understand her, and on the fact that he could be so stifling with her, and those are things she has a right to feel frustration for, but in the same way, she did not speak to him, and made him watch her get hurt, or hurt others, time and time again, 'always walking forward'.
In the same way she would not listen to Elder Faerie Cookie's pleas before the banquet. In the same way she makes up her mind on her own to die and leaves Golden Cheese Cookie with only a note and no real closure or chance to forgive her.
But despite the damage done, I find it admirable. As much bad as she has done, White Lily Cookie has done so much good, and as she pushes forward, she learns. It is not blind stubbornness alone, at least not anymore. White Lily Cookie has become wiser, aware of the harm she has caused and could cause still, and she has taken on that heavy burden while still walking forward as resolutely as she ever has, despite being given an opportunity for peace eternal that I do not think anyone would fault her for taking.
And I think the thing that's most beautiful and admirable about her strength to me is that White Lily Cookie is so fragile. She's constantly aware, of the limitations of her own body, of how easily her life could end, of how little she'll likely get to do, of how much suffering may await her. She's constantly, within her own mind, faltering and afraid, thinking herself weak, incapable. Yet her fear does not paralyze her. She is afraid, but her willpower and passion drives her to do it scared, every time. Because White Lily Cookie is brave.
Ok cool, I've been wondering about this! (scraps a few art ideas)
I assumed their souls resided in Shadow Milk's body, because I assumed that the Beasts Souls were their souljams (Because of Salt's suicide) but this makes sense. The beasts are still alive in our timeline, but once again they are buried under the tree, completely powerless because of Ultimate Shadow Milk.
That means the "Beasts" that are fighting Shadow Milk for control are just the Ultimate cookie using the Lights of the Souljams against him. That's why their characters are significantly more one note. It's not them, Shadow Milk’s still utterly alone, but the Thousands of souls and the Ultimate dough are tormenting him and literally possessing his body (Which would probably become more frequent until he completely loses control.
The world can still be balanced once more, If the Beasts can be freed and the lights extracted from Ult! Shadow Milk. I always knew the Beasts were still in the playbooks for this story, but I was curious on how they would implement them back again. This is probably the best way to do so from a writing perspective.
But the Heroes got one issue:
Shadow Milk pissed all over the goddamm tree!
I was wondering what role the Silver tree was meant to play in the story, it had to be more than a cool spectacle. Even though Shadow Milk is a complete mess right now, and is planning on a whim, he's still the smartest dude in the world.
I wouldn't be surprised If he knew this, and in his plan to destroy the true timeline he created this to take hold of the Beast's once more and prevent the heroes from rebalancing the souljams. Which is why he also sends his daughter to go destroy the radiant cookie. His goal has been to cause so much entropy in the true timeline that it will break and the power will tip over to his timeline and become the new core timeline.
I'm also curious though of the actual properties of this tree. What does "spread his dark will" actually mean? Elder Faerie cookie is being used as a battery for his copy in his timeline, perhaps the Beasts are the batteries in this timeline? (If so, Fuck you Shadow Milk! /j) perhaps he is using it to mess up the flow of life energy Millennial tree oversees (making the guardians nap more) perhaps the roots of the tree will grow and grow and become dangerous everfree forest style? (Wait that would be sick actually!)
Either way, I'm really looking forward to whatever comes next. Seems like we'll be starting with Golden Cheese and Burning Spice, I've missed these two so much!

When Gabriel was banished from Heaven by the Father, many Powers started to go missing; others chose to align themselves with the other Archangels. Ezer Belialel did not believe that Gabriel was a traitor or that Gabriel was guilty of any sin. Ezer Belialel who had tried to reason with Manadel, one who called Gabriel a traitor and moved to Lucifer's court, that there was no way Gabriel could have forsaken the father; Manadel was stubborn and refused to change his views. With only a few Powers left in Heaven Ezer Belialel took it upon himself to search Hell and bring Gabriel back; to prove his innocence and to finally let his brothers rest in peace.
After some time searching the layers of Hell Ezer Belialel had started to change slowly, his armour dulling, flying less and less, until he reached the violence layer where he met King Ulysses; ruler of the violence layer. By this time Hell had thoroughly corrupted Ezer Belialel and King Ulysses saw how The Columbino's hymns drove Ezer Belialel to violent outbursts, worrying for his and The Columbino's safety he drove Ezer Belialel into the same labyrinth as the Minotaur. Ezer Belialel now trapped was perfect for Hell's continued torture and manipulation, Hell started by "gifting" him new legs and an axe that was alive, then growing a tree out of him to forever remind him of his fallen brothers and to remind Ezer Belialel of his own desire to disappear and finally Hell bestowed him a new name, a name to haunt and burden him forevermore B e l i a l e l.

Claire: The least consistent member of the squad due to her exhausting job as a janitor in the local joint. They are the most grounded, rarely coming up with it's own ideas and just following the rest of the group, though occasionally there are times where she proves her place in the group, especially ones involving a lot of fire
Freyja: On the outside, she is the groups femme fatale. Often known for her social connections and fame in niche social media. She is beautiful and she knows it. Despite her confidence and love of the aesthetics, she is academically gifted in chemistry and engineering. Both of these traits always come in clutch in the teams plans
Sean: The self-proclaimed "Leader" of the group, he is often the one that gets the things started, he is also a microcelebrity, known very well in alternative fashion spaces. All of their piercings and jackets are their own made, on the other side though, Sean has always an air of arrogance over them, and they are the type of person who always prefers the easy and sharp way to get what they want, struggling with empathy. (This caused his break-up with Violet)
Derek: Sam's younger sibling, they have been bullied for their dwarfism and lack of academics, despite that, they have remained optimistic and curious about life, not losing hope that there will be people who accept them, which is exactly what happened. In the present, they act as the groups neutral party, supporting and cheering everybody no matter what. Also a huge fan of gossip
Sam: Derek's older sister, she is known to be extremely hard to snap back once she is focused on something. This has both it's strengths and weaknesses, like they can research hours about a topic for the groups plan, only to not realize the plan has been scrapped entirely. When she is not focused, Sam is quite active, not on the level Violet or her sibling are, but its best to keep an eye out regardless
So, episode 8 really had us going huh. (I had already saw all the leaks so it didn’t hurt as much)
With White Lily going on a journey to be reincarnated over and over again, people have the idea that she may not return ever again. To which I disagree to that statement.
I’ll clear up the first statement read above. First, in the dialogue, she told Pure Vanilla that she was going to return to find him. Not immediately, but someday, when she feels ready to reincarnate as a cookie again. The term ‘reincarnate’ means that the soul retains memories and is just in a different form than its original self.
Now although White lily had talked about being ‘reborn’ again (which has a different term than reincarnate), she stated that she will still be herself as she is being reborn multiple times. So it will still be the Lily we know and love when she returns!
Now that I got that out the way, there is something that few people have noticed, myself included. When Beast Yeast episode 7 and 8 were released, we were shown splash art with the ancient puppets yet again; however, the state that the puppets were in actually shown or even foreshadowed what was going to happen to them in future updates.

However, there is only one ancient puppet that we never got to see their fate/major change:
White Lily Cookie.
We’re shown in the splash art that she has black hair, and with the other ancients struggles being predicted/forshadowed, some had suspected that we were gonna see a black haired White Lily Cookie during her awakening. However, this never happened. Throughout the series since this splash art came out, we have never seen her with black hair.
And yes you can argue that Dark Enchantress Lily had black hair but the black hair shown was only at the tips of her hair compared to the puppet lily, and we know that the splash art is pretty accurate to the ancients’ fates so she’s not the Black haired Lily we’re shown.
My theory is that the Black Haired Lily that we see is actually White Lily’s reincarnated self. In episode 7, we are given information that White Lily had met Shadowmilk/ First Headmaster and was driven in the rabbit hole to figure out why cookies were so fragile during her academy years. In the splash art, the Black Haired Lily puppet is facing the exact same portrait of a crossed out headmaster.
I predict that White Lily will be reborn into a cookie possibly at the very end of Timeline of Fate with black hair. Because again, we have not seen White Lily with black hair before. However, worse comes to wear that she won’t remember Pure Vanilla nor her friends once she’s reunited with them again (though I feel like this is she will regain those memories later).
I’m also reaching with this point as well, but I feel like White Lily will also regain her Light of Freedom back now that it is confirmed that the Beast Cookies will return. The reason being is that in her puppet in the splash art still has her staff and souljam intact. And before you say that it probably doesn’t matter or that it might have been an error, look at the other ancient cookies.
They all still had their weapons and souljams, plus I highly doubt that Devsisters left those hints out for fun, everything is connected one way or another. This comment from one of Devsisters’ artists (Yerin Song) further supports this claim in the official Beast Yeast Artbook.
In the Prologue, Timekeeper had also said that there needs to be ten souljams in order for the original timeline to keep itself from collapsing. This means that not only do they have to retrieve the souljams back for the beasts, but also this means that the Virtue of Solidarity would have to split to make the Light of Freedom and the Light of Silence.
Now although people are predicting that Gingerbrave is going to inherit the Light of Solidarity in the future, I think not. Reason being is that he has his own light that is yet to be fully revealed: the Light of Bravery.
There are actually a couple of instances where the story hints at this. ‘Gingerbrave’s awakening’ choice in the prologue and Little Giant Cookie mentioning his ‘light of bravery’ in BY ep 15.
Plus while I do agree that this is a sad and terrible end for the Lily due to ep 15, I kinda find it beautiful how she was able to seek the freedom she desired for herself. And before any of you decide that the argument Lily and Pure Vanilla had means that PureLily is over you’re mistaken. Again, Lily had said that she would find Pure Vanilla once more when she learns to love herself.
To further the evidence, episode 8’s title ‘I Promise’ is a reference to the crk song with the same name made in 2021 of the game’s release. Which the song is about the singer looking for their long lost love (whether this be Pure Vanilla or White Lily singing is debatable, but their Korean VAs did duet the song before so it could talk about both)
This is not the end of PureLily, but rather a rekindle. They finally expressed their feelings to one another and how they have issues with the other’s methods. Pure Vanilla finally letting White Lily go on her own journey is a healthy way to allow trust in their relationship, and this also means that he is letting the picture he has of Lily go and seeing who she truly is and actually trusting in her decisions instead of trying to steer her to what he thinks is the right decision.
And although White Lily cookie may look different when they meet again, I am sure that Pure Vanilla will learn to love her as herself and not the picture he has in his mind again.
Afterall, bringing her back too early can reduce the stakes in Timeline of Fate. Act 2 focuses on Pure vanilla’s character development, he needs to change in order to truly help his friends and defeat Shadowmilk. We still have 14 episodes left until it reaches full circle, and I am actually excited to see what’s to come for once (just so long as Shadowmilk doesn’t hog all the screen time).
That’s all the thoughts I have for White Lily coming back for the umpteenth time, thank you all for reading!
