“I worked with Chris Lee (Li Yuchun) and her media team to produce visuals for her new album and tour, Liu Xing. We created six visuals which captured 6 stops on the tour and each live single which was released on the night.”

Roman Klonek’s “Cut the Crap” at Urban Spree Gallery.
Opening on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at Urban Spree Gallery in Berlin, Germany is artist Roman Klonek’s solo exhibition of brand new woodblock prints, “Cut the Crap.”
On his work, Roman explains: “Maybe I should now mention that I love to make a mess to clean it up afterwards. If it comes to an unexpected coincidence of two or more ideas (which often happens in a natural way), it may well happen that these encounters cause a moment of happiness in me because of their originality. As far as the combination of ideas or picture elements is concerned, I like to move in the tradition of the so-called B-Movies, which are an alternative to the calculable mainstream cinema, with much more risk-taking and no consideration for conceptual rigor, often show the key features in telling stories – the moments of surprise.”
“Cut the Crap” will be on display until September 30th, 2018.

I’m a self-taught Vietnamese born painter with a major focus on water based mediums such as watercolor, gouache and sometimes ink. I started to paint 1 year ago, as a way to rediscover my childhood passion for arts and eventually it took over most my time and became something I’d put serious thoughts and efforts into. I’ve tried various style, different approaches and recently I’m working on a personal project, called “Symbiosis”.
