The start of my AU that's been on my mind for quite some time but not having the motivation to post it untill now. Every Darkner in this AU are creatures, living more with animalistic nature than with a true purpose. In this AU all Dark Worlds are connected and all Darkners can explore/hunt in different areas that aren't their true home. Even though a fountain a sealed up the world still continues to exist without consequences, just makes it harder for a Lightner to enter that specific Dark World (example: if Cyber World or TV Worlds fountain close a Lightner would have to enter the Castle Towns fountain and travel there through the Dark Worlds to get to those areas)
Boss Darkners do have their marked territories within their own worlds and allow certain Darkners to reside inside them but territorial disputes do happen quite a bit and can get messy.
When a Darkner undergoes a transformation they can't change back either and these transformations can be painful. Shops still exist in this world along with a trading system in place that allows Darkners to trade things to each other for food or other materials however Darkners do hunt each other for food time to time in order to survive when push comes to shove.
I want to try and expand more of this world but I'm not very good at writing or posting frequently lol, I hope y'all enjoy the process as I try to update things!
