“Matt Diaz Shows His New Body After Surgery.”
Today, I’d like to share something very special with you.
I’ve been waiting for the right time to make and post this video. I wanted to wait for my relationship with my body to really come into bloom, for enough time to pass since the initial video that went viral so it didn’t just seem like I was trying to capitalize on the buzz surrounding it.
But now, it’s time.
After over a year, 2 extensive procedures and a hell of a lot of effort:
This is my new body.
Please let me know what you think, and reblog it if you enjoy it!
Love his attitude <3
Bless his heart…

POPULAR ‘FINDING DORY’ PETITION ASKS DISNEY TO PROTECT BLUE TANG SPECIES
More than 37,000 people have signed a Care2 petition requesting that Disney air a public service announcement before its screenings of Finding Dory, premiering on June 17. It’s titled “Disney: tell fans to find Dory, not buy her.”
The issue is that following the release of Finding Nemo in 2003, clownfish sales rose 40 percent. (Nemo is a clownfish.) The new petition’s mission statement continues:
“Fortunately, Clownfish can be bred in captivity, so the market has been partially fulfilled that way. But Blue Tang Fish cannot be bred in captivity, so there is no way to fill a demand in pet Blue Tang except pulling them from their natural habitat. If Disney does not place an explicit warning at the beginning of the film asking viewers not to adopt Blue Tang like Dory, then we will see a sharp decline in their population.”
The post also notes that “the transition from ocean to captivity is very hard on reef fish like Clownfishes and Blue Tang fishes, often costing them their lives” and that “researchers are seriously panicking” about the potential Finding Dory effect.

Realistic Self-Talk
This too shall pass & my life will be better.
I am a worthy and good person.
I am doing the best I can, given my history and level of current awareness.
Like everyone else, I am a fallible person and at times will make mistakes and am committed to learning from them.
What is, is.
Look at how much I have accomplished, and I am still progressing.
There are no failures, only different degrees of success.
Be honest and true to myself.
It is OK to let myself be distressed for awhile.
I am not helpless. I can and will take the steps needed to get through during crisis.
I will remain engaged and involved instead of isolating and withdrawing during this situation.
This is an opportunity, instead of a threat. I will use this experience to learn something new, to change my direction, and/or to try a new approach.
Other people are responsible for their reactions to me.
I can stand anything for a while because I am resilient.
In the long run, who will remember or care?
I see all things through the eyes of compassion.
Also, teaching.
THe hardest part of dropout prevention is coming to terms with this.

#educhums, ASSEMBLEEEEEE
Honestly though like its fucking offensive how people still try to claim that “hard work” is what determines your economic fate.
Like its not like its a secret that the most back-breaking labor is categorically not the most high-paying, really its almost the precise opposite.
People bent over for 12 hours a day, in the sun, picking vegetables are literally the lowest paid people in the country.
No one can claim ignorance of that.
So shut your God damn mouth and find another justification already,
stop being insulting to the people who bust ass and break a sweat
so millionaires can spend their work days in a chair, in an air conditioned room, two basic luxuries that plenty take for granted.
