Bison being reintroduced on Muscowpetung First Nation 🥺💕
This was in July 2020 it is the first time in 100 years there have been bison on Muscowperung lands. They have long term plans to grow the heard but in the short term they have them to feed the tribe in case of Covid-19 lock down and they need food.
The Republican Party just announced that for 2020 they are adopting no platform except “We Unconditionally Support President Trump and Whatever He Does"
This is the wildest fucking shit, like straight up cult-like nonsense, and absolutely unprecedented, but sure, both parties are exactly the same
I’m guessing they’ve just accepted that Trump is SO UNRELIABLE that if they make a platform, he won’t follow it anyway?
A party platform is the statement of what the party’s beliefs and specific goals are, it’s not like there’s some kind of legal requirement for the party’s candidate to follow it to the letter, but it does exist to give people a sense of what priorities an administration will have. The Democratic Party Platform for 2020 is about 90 pages long and covers things like healthcare, racial justice, climate change, civil rights, the economy, education, and foreign policy. The fact that the GOP couldn’t pull something together other than “we agree to go along with whatever Trump does or says” is really not a good sign.
The parties are not the same
This is why saying we have to choose between the lesser of two evils is inherently flawed logic and not grounded in fact.
maybe we should stop calling things “grammatically correct” and start calling them “grammatically normative”

“Pants were invented for men” not according to my ancestors.
Pants were invented for riding horses. People who didn’t have nomad horse culture all wore dresses. Dress wearing old greek men considered pants to be the mark of barbarism. Like the Scynthians and Samaritans.
Also- the Scynthian and Samaritan tribes were known for equality between genders. Where women were renouned hunters and archers. They are where the greeks got the idea for Amazons.
So sorry bro pants are totally for women. You just mad its for riding something that’s not you.
Okay but like based on genital structure, it would actually make sense for mean to wear skirts and women pants, why are we even talking about logic

When ur like: “this show is very good. In fact, it is too good. I want something I can watch with 30% brain and this is a minimum 60% brain show.”
The Good Place (2016-2020)
brah
The Good Place’s take on morality is so important to me. It never suggests that being good is easy or straightforward - quite the opposite - but it says, over and over again, that we need to try because we’re all people and we all matter.
protestants: god is not an absent father! talk to god like a friend! god is always with you! bring your problems to god, no matter how small! it’s not at all weird to call god “daddy!”
catholics: god is far too important to give a fuck about your lost keys or your algebra exam. please address your petty concerns to one of god’s ten thousand holy secretaries. if it’s really important, consider asking his mom.
catholics can’t get in touch with god because he’s always on the phone with a protestant

Shapes……………….
Little is known about the origins of this practice, although there is some unfounded speculation that it is loosely derived from or perhaps inspired by ancient Aegean notions about bees’ ability to bridge the natural world with the afterlife.
