This is our blog dedicated to, unsurprisingly, our paganism & witchcraft! We have such fun things as tarot & oracle spreads, learning forms of divination as we go, and too many damn pantheons.
We're both very eclectic in our practices, so don't expect very structured religion here. Along with that, we also have our religion outside of witchcraft- believing that every belief system is real in a capacity, it's only a matter of what any given individual worships.
Before we go into our introductions, please be very aware that we won't block you if you aren't being awful, but we are firm in boundaries. Generally be respectful of what we talk about. (of course, you can correct things or ask questions!)
Our coven is really just two people in a trenchcoat with no leader, we aren't wanting new members so don't go asking.
Anyways! Introductions, tags, & DNI Below
As I said, we've got two people! Archer & Kai.
Archer (he/it) has a laundry list of disabilities, and had a major bout of depression preventing him from doing his actual craft for a few years. He's back to it now thanks to both him and Kai realizing their practices were actually quite similar.
Arch has the most experience, deity wise with the Hellenistic and Kemetic pantheons, as well as a pop-culture pantheon. He does a lot of divination work, spellcraft, and devotional art to the pantheons.
Kai (they/it) has much similar issues and had struggles in the past about keeping up with the work given anxiety, depression, and school. They're back at it now with Arch here to help with motivation and the like.
Kai has the most experience with the Hellenistic, Roman, and Norse pantheons. They work a lot in divination, kitchen witchery, spellcrafting, and devotional art.
Now for our DNI! (You can see/watch, but do not comment, reblog, or DM)
Generally assholes who can't keep their bigotry to themselves
Wicca
Those who think aaannnyyyyy of what we said above is fake
Those against mixing pantheons/worshipping more than one (that is like. most of what we do)
Under 15 years old, we're both 18+ years old
Neonazis
Trump supporters
Anti-trans and anti-queer. TERFs. Racists. All that shit
Witches who think christianity & catholicism are not a valid group
People who disregard closed practices
People who treat this as a fandom or a joke, please keep your religious fandoms in other spaces. Percy Jackson, Epic the Musical, Lore Olympus, etc.

You do not need visualization skills to do energy work, perform magick, be a witch, or anything in between.
Rituals, spirit work, spells, divination, and so on have been practiced through so many other means than just visualization since practically the dawn of humanity. There are four other mundane and psychic senses than just eyesight and clairvoyance that you can utilize.
Raise and direct your energy via movement, your breath, and music. Meditate through automatic writing/drawing, or focus on how energy feels in different locations. Hone your intuition by asking for and noticing observable signs or listening to the voices of spirits and discerning them from your own inner voice.
Visualization is just one of many tools you can potentially use. Not have to.
as a witch that really struggles with rampant diagnosed OCD and intrusive thought loops, i can tell you with absolute certainty that your brain might FEEL like an enemy of your practice, but it isnโt.
i know those spells interrupted by wobbly intentions and racing thoughts FEEL less potent, but they arenโt.
you hold concentrated power in yourself and are SO capable despite the neurodivergence, despite the self-doubt, despite the tired soul.
Starting bread, running out of flour mid dough making, using instant mashed potato mix for the remainder, baking it, and it coming out very well is peak House & Home Devotion Day activities
There was no universal Scandinavian religion, or Slavic, or Celtic.
They were multiple mini cultures with changing and differing views.
Thatโs why we have different beliefs on who was the โHigh Godโ in the Norse myths and physical evidence that we have left. Tyr, Freyr, Odin; have all been the High God in different cultures. Because people didnโt collect under orthodox and shared religion in a pre Christian world the way they do now.
You can now make a more collective religion, but saying there was always one, is a mistake at best and pseudo history at worst.

Nazis will never be welcome in paganism. They have no space in our communities, we will have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to nazis. You have no right to the cultures, gods and religions you hijack to spread your disgusting ideologies. You will find no refuge or comraderie amongst pagans.
Reblog to let nazis know theyโre not welcome here.
As much as it can make me and so many others feel very overwhelmed...
Physical cleaning is so underrated in witchcraft.
I feel like most of the time when witches talk about cleaning, they're primarily talking about energetic cleaning. Even when physical cleaning is involved it's "use the broomstick to sweep away the bad energy," "open your windows," and "recipe for a cleansing room spray," and so on, but nothing terribly thorough.
I just spent three and a half hours cleaning my room, no magick other than my spirit guides' candle lit to help keep me locked in with some video essays rolling in the background. Several surfaces and items have been dusted for the first time in months, I filled two garbage bags with trash and two more with donations, and rearranged all my drawers and shelves.
And no recent magickal cleansing method has made me feel so relaxed and at ease in so long.
I honestly wasn't expecting it! Usually deep cleaning makes me feel quite exhausted, but this is more of a satisfactory exhaustion. Like a physical weight I never knew was there has been lifted off my chest. Now I'm rewarding myself with a nice bath using the bath bomb that my boyfriend made for me!
All in all, thorough physical cleaning is extremely important for everyone's mental and spiritual wellbeing. It doesn't have to be all at once like what I did, it just has to be done in general. And don't be afraid to ask for help from a friend or family member if you need it!
As a cottage witch, I just love using food in my spell-casting, either by baking something sweet or biting in the flesh of a ripe fruit right before a ritual...
no more divine feminine/masculine as repackaged gender roles, no more crystals to cure cancer, no more higher self instead of looking at yourself, no more starseeds, no more fear mongering around protection magic, no more calling toxicity "energy vampirism", no more applying new age terms to folk practices, no more anthropomorphizing spirits, no more
