━ ` ★ ⋱ » The atmosphere in the forest was tense and everyone was either busy collecting the flags that would lead them to victory; trying to fight off the people who were craving for their blood; or they were simply trying their best to survive in a harsh and cruel terrain. There were a few who didn’t fit in those three categories; and Taisou was one of them. Back pressed against the snow, his dull eyes stared blankly at the leaves and branches hovering above his head. Ah what a damn pain. This was a complete waste of his time. The bandit had spent days running around and searching for a path out of this shitty cold hell; but he always ended up stumbling upon a dead end. His frustration was tempting him towards one of his many brilliant ideas.
Setting the whole forest on fire and creating a wonderful inferno so that there would be no more trees blocking his damn way. It was one of his many splendid tactics and it was titled ‘Burn all the shit out’. While he was far too stubborn to accept defeat, his lazy trait was starting to get in the way and he soon realized he would rather spend all of his time taking a nap instead of chasing after an exit. Fluttering his eyes shut, he placed his arms behind his head before letting out a relaxed breath. The chance of an enemy stumbling upon him was high, but his instincts were sharp and he was confident he would be able to fend off any prick that would try to disturb him.
「 ❋ 」—- This snowy tundra had been nothing but a battlefield, be it between beasts or between people, blood was being shed over the flags people wanted in their possession oh so badly. She'd had yet to run into anyone who would pose a threat to her and she was glad for that. She didn't know if she had it in her to fight someone who had done no wrong to her, but she was sure if the time came there would be no choice in the matter.
Aside from all the killing and fighting, it was hard to find shelter and warm pieces of clothing. Admittedly, her uniform did manage to keep her somewhat warm, but she couldn't help but shiver in the cold frosty air as she trudged through the snow, no set destination in mind. She'd been told to leave, fend for herself, and fight anyone off if it came to that. Eyes were quick in scanning each area she'd come across before passing through to make sure no one other than herself was there. So far she'd been successful in avoiding the attention of others, that is until she finds an odd sight. A boy no younger than she is taking a snooze in the snow is the sight she sees in front of her. Whether or not she should move on or say something conflicts her, but she chooses the latter in the end because it's just not in her nature to pass someone up. Especially someone who looked as harmless as he did.
Slowly, she moves towards him and soon enough, she's standing in front of him. His eyes are shut, and he hardly seems to be breathing, so this worries her. ❝ Er..hello? Are you all right? This isn't exactly the best place to sleep, you know.. ❞ in somewhat of a hushed voice she says to him and there is no response at first, so she opts to make contact with him and so she slowly reaches out to touch his shoulder just to make sure.
