I really hope Squeenix does some new merch for TWEWY. Both for the original and for Neo. I’d love some more official stuff. Overall, there’s not too much kicking around especially outside of Japan.

Neku and his bad attitude/flawed worldview was such a breath of fresh air in the OG TWEWY, I really hope Rindo isn’t made into just another cliche shonen protagonist like the last shot of the trailer for NEO seems to imply.

Yes, this. Neku is a brat! I love that about him! He’s self centred and angry and flawed and that’s what made him and his story arc so satisfying and engaging because he grows! And it feels natural and not forced.

I love reluctant protagonists. They’re some of my favourite types to read/watch/play. And it was so fun to see him bounce off of other strong character types.

This is a long way to say: I hope Rindo is more than the go-getter shounen protag. Otherwise it feels a little too... Sora-like.

I have waited thirteen years for this game.

I can’t. I’m just so happy.

I just booted up my DS copy and I’ve clocked 141 hours on it. Only 3 stars though. I definitely gave up on hundo-ing the pin collection haha. I just started my Switch copy and boy is it a different feel!

But it hits all the same emotional buttons 😭 God, Neku running through Shibuya as Twister plays is just agsjfkaha

All this talk about Minamimoto and where the rest of the og twewy gang is. Ya’ll what I really wanna know is if Tin Pin will be a playable part of the game or not. They should also bring back Shooter for the hell of it, make him a background npc.
