Official ominous sign
It's cool and fun to make 3D art
No one cares when you’ve flipped (over).
‘While closely related to the apex scavenger that is the Wet floor sign, the feeding habits and herd behaviors of the humble Road cone are vastly different from that of said solitary opportunist.
When a road is injured, it doesn’t take long for the first few Road cones to arrive and begin feeding. Such an infestation of cones can rapidly explode in number, and so road repair is often a high priority, to try and keep their numbers in check. Once fixed, the Road cones are quick to migrate elsewhere, and await their next chance to feed.
Some breeds of Cones have been domesticated, and can be found with the families they live with, often brought along to sporting events, where the miniature Cones crowd around the edges of the Sports field.
There are many subtle variations of the standard Road cone, and it is an endlessly interesting field to explore. Next episode, we will cover more of a midpoint between the solitary opportunistic Wet floor sign & the communal Road cone with the famed Construction pylon!’
@pandorkful sculpted these live on twitch, then worked for weeks to get the scale just right for printing out perfectly. They even have a lovingly sculpted booty ass. Optional wizard hats fit all of the poots!
All the proceeds from this are going right back to the artist so that we can make even more poot tomfoolery.
ShopShifty 3d nonsense
Bonus: If you have the limited run Feet Poot, they fit on this one like a terlet. A++
I didn't even notice the sparkly Jesus rock until after I'd taken the picture 😅
Uh-oh... this particular fire hydrant has gotten on the orange cone gang's bad side. Hydrant kidnapping in progress! 😱
Oh hey, it's the fire department!
Three cones trying to keep their pet robot under control near a Hardee's.
The long shadows of the road barrels at midnight.
"I get knocked down... but I get up again!"
A symbiotic relationship.
The cone helps hold the dumpster's lid when it's tired and needs some extra airflow to its insidey-parts, and the dumpster provides a bit of shade and protects the cone from being hit by cars.
Some coneography from around a decade ago (if I'm remembering right), when someone crunched the outer wall of this Subway and a cone had to tape off the area to let the humans know it needed to get fixed.
This Subway has since relocated into a weird tiny space in another building, and a vape store has opened up in its place.
I wonder why these two have a shovel...
One of these cones lost its sign... and somehow broke something in the process. Not even sure what that electronic looking crunched piece is, part of a light that fell from its pole, maybe? I didn't poke at it to find out.
(I grabbed that sign while I had the chance, though since it was lying there loose on the ground... it's a basement decoration now 😅)
This one is still holding up the sign with no issues.
Cone funeral in progress.
Notice that the cone lying on the ground is completely missing the black hexagonal "base" part that the others like it have... a sure sign that a cone really has died.
An unusual species of cone encountered last weekend.
Seems closely related to the indoor "wet floor" cone, but adapted for an outdoor parking lot environment.
The reason for their apparent affinity for duct tape, however, is still unknown.
