NAC Do you have a list of all your blog rules?
Thanks for using “NAC”!I wouldn’t call it a list, because I’m really posting these rules as I realize that they need to be explicitly stated, so here are the collection of posts that are called the blog rules. Follow the link to get all the nitty gritty but here’s the short of it:
If confessing two different things within the same ask, break them up. Alternatively, if you need to submit your confession in multiple asks, make sure they are numbered appropriately
Please use "NAC" (meaning 'not a confession') when submitting a question or an anonymous response or anything you didn't intend to be made into a confession.
Swearing is acceptable.
No rumours/speculations about the actors and their private lives.
Always be respectful when discussing the members of the crew. They’re doing their jobs and doing their best
Do Not:
Attack fandom/specific members of the fandom - either though replies or confessions
Voice excessive/extreme hate toward fictional characters
You can hate a character and express that here, but there is a line
Use slurs in confessions. This blog is for everyone to participate in!
This includes perpetuating harmful stereotypes about sexuality, gender identity, and mental illness, to give a few examples.
Submit confessions about real life ships (ex: Gramber
Exceptions for real life spouses (ex: Shamber)
No rumours/speculations about actors and their private lives
No submitting watermarked or edited photos for confession
Absolutely NO pedophilia. This includes: shipping an of age character played by an of age actor with a minor character played by an of age actor; shipping an of age character with a minor character played by a minor actor. Shipping two characters that BOTH are minors are the exception to this rule.
Please remember there is one mod on this blog making decisions about confessions. If you’d like to know why your confession wasn’t posted, please message me.
And please remember that these confessions do not come from the mod but from everyone in the Heartland community.
Block Policy
I am adding this section because I recently had to block someone from this blog. There is a three strikes you’re out policy - if I have to issue three warnings, you will be blocked from the blog indefinitely.
Reasons for a strike include:
Homophobic comments
Racist comments
Sexist comments
Threatening violence against others
Hate speech ≠free speech. This is a privately run blog that I run for my own enjoyment. This blog needs to be a safe place for myself and the people that want to visit it.
