ooh this must be a popular one. i also got this ask from @nocturna-from-the-island and @buffylovebot so thank you all for being curious! i’m just gonna answer it once here :3
i actually really love them together?? like i didnt even realize it until i started this blog but they might be my number one ship for each other. which is a tall order bc i ship sooo many people together. but yes, who doesnt love a good pirate/princess match up?? i mean look at this beautiful art and tell me you dont ship them at least a lil bit
i can’t even explain it bc i mean it’s not like we have a lot of canon material to go on. but you could say that for. literally any ship except the main canon ones so... i just think they’d be great at balancing each other out. uma would help keep evie more down to earth, evie would keep uma from getting too down in the dumps. things like that
if we’re talking about extending canon then i could definitely see them becoming closer while they both worked with ben. and they have similar goals, obviously, which was getting the kids off the isle. they’d be the couple that totally seems to clash on the surface but they actually work perfectlywell together and its kkind of shocking how much they get along lol
so yes i ship them together 100%. love them both so much, on their own and as a couple. i think they might really be one of my faves... 😳😳
