Dear Followers...

In case you haven't noticed... I have ceased posting on this blog. 

I felt that this blog was intended for my "confessions" regarding ttc... a place to vent, share, ask, etc. and now that I'm only 2 months away from meeting my precious little babe I no longer need this specific "outlet" (if that makes any sense)

So, for those of you who don't already know- I have a "regular" blog that I post on, well, regularly... and I'd love for you to check it out and follow there if you so desire :)

Oopsies...

So, I obsessively check our registry almost every day just because I like looking at the baby stuff and also to make sure that everything I registered for is still available (several things have disappeared due to being last year's models etc) and so far no one had bought us anything, so I didn't really know how it worked when they did... until now.

A couple weeks ago the wife of a very high profile client of my hubby's asked for my registry info and I really didn't expect her to go on there and buy us something (I've never met her, and her hubby is a movie star and I'm just a pool-guy's wife... I dunno, anyway...)

So yesterday I go to my registry and it says that an item was purchased. (!!!) I couldn't help but scroll down and see what this person bought but the second that I saw what it was I felt like I had just found one of my Christmas presents in my parent's closet and got all guilty feeling. THEN, to make my guilt even worse (because I had told myself- well at least I don't know who bought it) just now I was scrolling along on my registry and saw a little link that said "Go To Your Thank You List" and I was like- what is this? So what did I do? I clicked on it. And what did Amazon do? They told me who bought the dang gift. NOW I feel like I have both discovered my Christmas present in the closet and discovered that my parents are really Santa. I mean, yes, I had a very strong suspicion that the purchaser of said gift was the wife of said client but I didn't actually want to know before they gave us the gift!

So guilty feeling! 

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?!

Not getting a minute of sleep due to pregnancy insomnia is miserable... but feeling my little babe kicking away in there all day makes up for it ten-fold ;)

It's been a week now since I started feeling actual kicks instead of flutters and it gets more and more exciting every day! Trying to fall asleep for 8+ hours unsuccessfully was a little rough but oh well... you win some you lose some.

I had an ultrasound at my first appointment at 13 weeks (we had to wait a few weeks for our insurance to kick in) and we have another one next week (21 weeks)

I'm 19+ weeks and haven't had any blood tests done... is that normal?

Holy Boobs Batman!

Will they ever stop?!

It's getting to the point of embarrassment.

I always said when I got pregnant I would never leave the house due to the giganticness that my boobs were surely to become. And here we are. 30K... K... as in, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K... and I'm not even halfway through this pregnancy. Do my ladies not understand the extreme petiteness of my ribcage? I mean, there's only so much than can fit on 30inches of ribs... seriously though, if I wore a size 34, the cup would only need to be a G (only, HA...). But no, I wear a 30 because I'm the size of a garden gnome. A garden gnome with with watermelons glued to it's chest.

I will seriously breastfeed this kid till he goes to college if it means getting these monsters down to at least a D-cup... seriously.

Okay, not seriously- that's disturbing... but still.

3 cup sizes in 19 weeks... 21 weeks left to go... at this rate I'll be a 30-N by the time this kid comes out. I am terrified.

Nesting is the most wonderful pregnancy side-effect on the planet. Ever.

(excluding feeling baby move of course, but I don't really consider that a "side-effect")

My house is sparkling like a magical castle. Plus, with 4 trash bags of items to donate, 4 giant boxes to go to the attic and the massive amounts of trash that have left the house you'd never know that I'm a closet hoarder. (Shh, don't tell) 

**Disclaimer: I'm not one of those gross disgusting hoarders with little pathways to get through the house and dead cats decaying under piles of trash. Honestly, you'd never ever ever ever ever guess that I'm a hoarder even after a thorough inspection of my house. I had two houses burn down when I was a kid and thus have a lot of strong sentimental attachments to certain things (read: will have severe panic attack if they disappear) but none of them are (too) unreasonable and my OCD keeps everything perfectly organized. So don't call TLC on me, they'll laugh at you. End disclaimer**

7 weeks today!

Feeling pretty good, just super duper tired every day and the nausea seems to be increasing each day. I don't care though- it just means there's really a little munchkin in there! ;)

If yesterday and today are any indication of how I'm going to be feeling these next 35ish weeks then the hours between 2:00pm and 3:30/3:45pm will be nap time. That is all.

Seriously though, it's like clockwork... 2:00... omg I can't stay awake... 3:30... hey, I feel normal again!

I couldn't resist the urge any longer and took a test this afternoon!!! Just told the hubs and our best friends.
