Thank you to every artist who entered and contributed the MAP, and thank you to all those who supported this project. I couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help!

I had an amazing time hosting this MAP, and if I have time, I will surely be doing another! I made many new friends through this project, and I’m so happy everyone enjoyed my idea!

Another thank you goes out to the Gemsona Community. This is an amazing community, and I hope that everyone continues drawing gemsonas and thinking up amazing stories!

I chose the song “Somewhere Only We Know” by Lily Allen beacuse this community is truely somewhere only we know. The gemsona community is a place we all can contribute and belong no matter who we are.

Gemsona MAP Collaboration Project

(Gemsona MAP) Somewhere Only We Know Hello everyone! I’m happy to announce my plans for a big gemsona MAP! WHAT IS A MAP? A MAP is a collab music video where artists contribute their art and/or animations to a part of the music video. Artists will be given a part to illustrate and all the art will be combined into one video with the song to form one huge music video. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lguZG… WHAT CAN I DO? You can contribute by drawing a part of the music video with your gemsona. Your gemsona can be doing anything they want as long as it is appropriate. Please do stick to your part and illustrate something that goes along with the song and the lyrics pertaining to your part. If there are no lyrics, you can illustrate anything! APPLYING: -Please note that this is NOT first come first serve. I will be choosing artists. -You will notice that intro and ending are not available choices. I will be drawing these myself. -You can apply by submitting this form HERE http://goo.gl/forms/tuUbDqyfKU9Mt2Kl2 -Fill out as much information as you can, but please READ ALL THE RULES BEFORE YOU APPLY. HOW DO I DO MY PART? -Once you have received your part by me, you may choose to either DRAW or ANIMATE. -Your parts must be in fullscreen size (1920x1080) or higher, as long as it is within that ratio. -You must include lyrics in your art if your part has lyrics. -Each part requires a minimum of TWO fully illustrated drawings OR one animated part. I noticed after I finished Citrine that her outfit looks a hella like Azura’s, and I’m kinda okay with that since they are both dancers qwq ;;
