Most of these will be answered in character with speech marks and a lot of these will probably be answered by Nick if it isnt addressed to anyone in particular

Names are interchangeable so you can either call them by their actual names (Ronnie and Nick) or by their 'Newsie name' (Clash and Stars)

Just a heads up that it might take long for me to answer some stuff cus schools about to start or has just started again (depending when youre seeing this) and I have some exams on in the first few weeks so I'll get to them as soon as I can

Hey guys Ive made Stars a profile on oc social network if anyone would like to interact with him on there!!

“Now that uh,” someone slinks in to Clash’s side, and it’s none other than Pocket. She eyes him critically and bites her lip, “that the heat has died down, why’d you tell people about you carryin’ me around?”

The newsgirl opens a pocket on her leg, holding the pins she’d stolen from Clash’s twin, “Did Stars want revenge for these? I got a reputation, you know.” she looks up at him, her eye sparkle for a moment.

"Pockey, I swear I didn't tell nobody 'bout me carryin' ya, so I don't know how in the world that went around." Clash sighs, smugly taking the pins off of Pocket's hands before she could react, "Though, maybe you're right.. Stars has been complainin' a lot 'bout you stealing his pins all the time..." He eyes the pins in his hand, fiddling with it and throwing it up and down, "so i wouldn't be too surprised if the bastard started spyin' on us or somethin'.." Clash pauses, pulling Pocket into his side, smiling at her. "I'll talk to him.. But stop stealin' his pins before the kid loses his marbles and makes your 'reputation' any worse."

Eu si vuestro hermano (Spot) habla español (interrumption here srry: i have a hc that Spot is Argentinean, so ye soeaks spanish, is this hc allowed or for you IS from another country or what, thanks) entonces vosotros también, no?? Porque digo sería medio raro que uno si y los otros dos no pero bue que se yo

(Just a heads up— I think this is a cool hc and I'm very open to it, but I don't think it'll be able to apply the spanish speaking part to my au on account of I don't speak spanish and I don't wanna get things wrong, but I'll still have the Stars answer this because in my au, they are of some sort of Filipino-Hispanic descent within their family so it might be a bit similar)

Stars: "Well, growin' up, both ma and pops was never really around when me and Ronnie were kids, since money was tight 'n' all and they was workin', but I do remember bein' there when she was tryna teach Spot some Spanish words before she started work, when we was about four 'n' Spot was seven. I never really picked any of it up though and god knows if Ronnie did too, cus neither of us could get anything through our heads at the time. So I guess, to answer your question, we unfortunately do not speak any Spanish asides from hola, gracias and manzanas."

(I personally know some more because the Tagalog language shares a few words with Spanish but I just thought it would be funny if they only knew hello, thank you, and apples.)

Jack’s stood around, bored, waiting for… probably Davey, knowing him. He catches sight of the two and grins, before running in the general direction of the newsies. He stops, shoves his hands in his pockets. A habit. He laughs a little- “Heya, boys!! How’re youse doin’?”

Stars looked up towards Jack, fiddling with papers in his hands, "Well if it ain't Mr. Jack Kelly! We were abouta head off ta sell some papes," He shoved the newspapers into his bag covered in star patches, "Clash here's tryna prove to me that he can sell all his papes in less than an hour." He continued, patting his brother on the shoulder.

"And I'll prove ya right!" Clash pulled his hat down with a prideful smile on his face, "You can come wit' us Jack! Unless youse waitin' on a certain someone..?" Clash cooked with a smirk, lightly nudging Stars in the stomach, who held the same facial expression towards Jack.

(Sorry some of these are taking a while guys, we kinda just closed our production of diary of a wimpy kid and I'm doing tech for the school musical, so I've been kinda busy— so I'm doing as best as I can rn. Thanks for understanding!!)

Clash, Stars, how did you react when you found out about Spot and Race??

Stars: "Well Spot said he was goin' out to Manhattan sayin' he was meetin' somebody."

Clash: "And we thought he was meetin' some girl he met durin' the strike or somethin' and..."

Back in Brooklyn ↓↓

"I'm back– 'Ey Ron, what happened to you goin' back to Manhattan?" Spot questioned, crossing his arms.

Clash snickered, "I think there's somethin' else we need to address–"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US YOU AND RACETRACK WAS DATIN'??!?!??" Stars yelled ecstatically, like a fangirl

"Ok ok, jesus calm down, Nick! We don't need all this yellin' over nuttin'." Spot sighed, "We'd only been official for a couple months and so we's still keepin' it quiet 'til we're ready."

"Wait but the strike finished only a month ago so.." Clash paused, seemingly calculating something in his head, "Was he the main reason you came to help with the strike? Oh Spot I'm hurt!" He continued dramatically, fake collapsing onto Stars—who barely caught him in time— with his hand on his forehead. "I can't believe you wanted to save your sweetheart over you're own brudda!"

"Oh quit the theatrics, you scumbag." Spot smiled, whacking Clash in the back of the head as he stood back up.

"I'm happy for you, Spot." Stars patted the shorter on the shoulder, after a small pause, smiling. "We both are."

WAIT GUYS I FEAR I COOKED KINDA?? The bit at the end just lowkey rushed but there's the twins' reaction to sprace my beloved

Yes!!! Im a huge huge sprace and javey shipper!!!I'm also all for canon which is jatherine or even Jack x Sarah (I LOVE '92SIES >◡<) —I honestly think they are cute, but Javey has my heart the most. I just wont complain if i see canon (im open-minded with any newsies ships honestly)

Since finding out a little after the strike, the twins have also been teasing Spot about Race every chance they get

Im also a fan of the other CrystallizedTwilight ships like Redfinch, Belmer, Blush, etc. Especially since she's kinda my inspiration for this whole thing

As for the twins, I did initially want to ship someone with Clash, but i still haven't worked it out. And Stars is aroace so hes a no go with shipping, but he loves to ship other people together and fangirling over them

“Well, looky here,” Pocket grins. She jogs to Clash’s side and throws her arm around his shoulder, “If it ain’t mini-conlons,”

She’s always been one for irony. The thief-for-hire has always been a touch shorter than both the twins, even a hat couldn’t help.

Her hand brisks up to ruffle Star’s hair, “I missed ya, boys. We gotta kick a ball around again, of course,” she chuckled shoved her hands into her overalls, “if the mighty Spot permits.”

She starts a few paces ahead, “Well, I don’t know about you two, but I’ve not sold shit! I gotta keep on, I’ll see you’s two’s at the lodge?”

And with that, Pocket is gone, disappearing into the crowd. And so are the pins from Stars’ hat.

"Uhh, see ya ‘round I guess, Pocket!" Stars called out, readjusting his hat.

"The hell just happened?" Clash stood, confused, still gazing at the direction Pocket dashed off to; fiddling with the stack of papers in his hand idly.

Stars continued adjusting his hat, before noticing that the space where his star pin used to sit was now empty.

“Oh my god.” He paused.

“POCKET IM GONNA SOAK YA TO DEATH! GIMME BACK MY PIN!!” Stars continued, running after Pocket.

Clash just sighed, shaking his head and following his brother in a much slower pace. “Idiots.”

(Sorry for the tense change btw echo ik you wrote it in present tense but my bit sounded better in past tense 😓)

Guys I'm so sorry I cannot write or draw comic stuff for the LIFE of me 😞😞

But yeah, after Clash talked to Spot and worked it all out, they made up, and they still talk, but he still stayed in Manhattan.

And Stars comes to Manhattan probably a few times a week just to hang out with his brother and a few of his Manhattan friends or help out with papes.

Clash does visit Brooklyn as well but a bit less than Stars visits Manhattan

So they very much talk to each other a lot now, but a bit before and during the strike, they just avoided each other completely.

Sorry y'all it's a bit rushed and poorly written, but thats kinda the general gyst of it. Dw tho, it all worked out after the strike if y'all wanna see more of that ahaha

Again, it's gonna take me a while to answer some submissions since Ive got school (doing tech for the school musical rn) and my extra curriculars so thank y'all for the patience!!!
