This is so real

Bored out of my mind. It’s a European classical church design with a steep snow roof, 35c and I’m sweating an ocean. The old irish men next to me reek of whiskey and I already got in trouble for saying they smelt like cleaning chemicals. The only thing to do to not think about how hot it was is to imagine Spyro flying around the rafters.

I remember the day I just got up and walked around the school the church was in. The parents weren’t happy but I was real chuffed.

The TADC finale succeeds as a good piece of art in the sense it made me feel emotions, many of them, and some quite strongly.

However, I would hesitate in calling it a good finale.

I think I need to sleep on it…

I’ve mulled it over and I do think that it’s still an incredibly competent piece of film… but I’m still left kinda angry after watching it?

I get the whole idea of catharsis being something only in stories and why what happened is in support of a catharsis but also like… it felt cynical in a way.

I don’t wanna say anything outright spoilery for a bit and also I want more time to nail down exactly how I wanna say what I felt about it.
