Angel -> Connor: there must be something good from before thats not darla. Find that. Its better than holding onto something uncertain. Find the good thing you hold in your heart. Not someone elses story.

Angel -> Connor: im not sure Veronica would want this for you. You claim youre doing it to always be with her. Would she thank you for it? 3/4ths or not. Im never going to think this is a good idea.

Angel -> Connor: the difference is im tired Connor. Immortality. Its difficult. It will take a toll on you. The idea of it wonderful but the reality. You dont understand until its too late. I wished I had someone telling me not to. Of course I am glad I got to live as long as I did because of Buffy but I also hurt her. I will pay for that the rest of my life. I hurt so many people Connor. Stop and think.

Angel -> Connor: Its unrealistic and you are not looking at the facts of what you want to do. Youre in Lala land. Thinking about a perfect life with Veronica that wont exist. It will be pain, hurt, terror and maybe a lovely moment here and there but it will mostly be fighting.

Angel -> Connor: then listen to me connor. You will regret this. End of story. If you go ahead with this plan. It will show me that I cannot trust you.

Connor->Dad: Yeah, there is. You, but that's a touchy subject right now so, it'd be weird to focus on that or ask for more examples from your family. which i know your family is another sore spot so

Connor->Dad: She doesn't want me to do it just for her. But she said she'd respect my choice just to take time to really think it through.

Connor->Dad: I've been tired and over all the fighting when I was 18. I'm trying to follow Uncle Lorne's example now. Starting with opening up Caritas. Besides, mom never really gave you a choice. She killed you in an alley, and I was born in one. Poetic irony is really overrated sometimes.

Connor->Dad: I don't even know if I can be turned. All I'm doing right now is studying the differences between the different types of vamps in the city.

Connor->Dad: you don't trust me now either, at least not enough to believe me. really wish Cordelia had her memories. She looks old enough to remember, and she said I'm familiar, but that's probably just because of you. I always got called "junior" for a reason.

Connor smiles happily as he accepts the tool he had mentioned that he needed for work on the club. He places it safely on the bar top and softly pulls her in close to him. "You are so amazing and perfect, you know that?" The man asks before giving her a kiss. @vcndetta

It wasn't often she heard a man speak so romantically about his partner. Connor was clearly an outlier. "That sounds a lot like my girlfriend." Or was it ex now? They didn't break up, but Willow didn't remember her.

"Oh really? Sounds like we both really lucked out then." Connor says happily with a smile. "Tell me about your girlfriend? Oh and my name is Connor by the way, it's nice to meet you..."

"ancient powers," repeated tanya, trying to wrap her head around the concept. a cosmic force that brought forth a vampiric child to creation? she would've thought it was absurd -- but then again, everything in washington was a bit absurd. she supposed it opened the world to possibilities. "and you're the... what kind, exactly?"

Connor simply nods silently in response. "Well since we don't have names for the different groups, I'll just describe the type my parents are." He says before clearing his throat. "They have a second face for feeding and the fangs grow in when their face changes. Besides of two rare cases, their souls are destroyed and they have no humanity left in them when turned. My father was cursed to live forever with his soul and humanity to feel the shame and pain of his actions. And he looses his humanity if he is every truly happy. My mother shared my soul until I was born."

"jeez, did i make it that obvious?" as far as jenna knew she had been playing it low key, trying to operate with a low profile as much as she could. she had been sure to try and keep her enhanced speed to a minimum, keep meals out of sight, had she messed up somewhere?

"I'm sure you're doing a good job at it. Well, to all those without vamp level hearing. It's the missing heartbeat that gives it away." Connor says back with arms folded over his chest. "Mind if I ask you a hypothetical question or two?"

"Tara something or other?" Cordy shrugged. There hadn't been any familiarity when it came to her, though it was weird how much Sunnydale had rang a bell. She was almost certain she'd never been to California, not for anything more than a few days anyway. "I didn't know her, it was totally weird. Like, sure, maybe someday I'll move to Los Angeles so my acting career can take off, but I sure as hell haven't heard of a place called Sunnydale."

"Tara?" Connor says with a furrowed brow. He didn't recognize the name beyond maybe a brief reference in Wesley's journals. "Yeah, I remember her. We didn't run in the same circle, but she's legitimate. She's just confused about where she knew you from." Connor says in a convincing lie as he tries not to damage whatever progress this Tara had going. "Now, if you said Angel or Buffy, them I know better." The man nods while keeping a reserved presence. "Yeah, I think LA would be good for you, for a while. Overseas films are going to be bigger than Hollywood soon though so maybe that'll be where you end up." He says, wanting to give her a happier end, even if it's just in his mind.

Tara laughed slightly, nodding in agreement. "I'm not a big drinker either, but I'm always up for adventure, so here I am." She commented. That, and she needed more friends here. "Oh, tell me about your girlfriend!" Tara lit up.

"Adventures are always worth a potential headache the next day." Connor replies with a chuckle and a nod but really gets happy when she asks for him to tell her about Veronica. "She's beyond amazing. Super smart, brave, kickass and just... the most loving and supportive woman I've ever known. I love being her teammate through all this."

“that's  very  sweet  of  you.”  millie  complimented,  referring  to  him  wanting  to  honour  his  uncle.  “sorry,  i  didn't  mean  to  pry  or  be  nosey.  just…  thought  it  might  be  nice  to  know  some  other  social  workers  around  here.  make  some  friends  in  the  job.”  she  admitted,  shrugging  her  shoulders.  “still  trying  to  find  my  place  in  it  all.  in  here.”  millie  liked  what  she  did,  she  couldn't  deny  that.

Connor smiles a little bit but shrugs. "Thank you, but it's mostly about making amends too." He says honestly. The man never wanted too much praise or to be seen too highly due to his past mistakes. "No, no, you can always ask. I'm sorry to be going off the rolls when you got here but we can still be friends. I can introduce you to more people and once the club is up everyone in the office is getting discounts for off work hangouts."

"oh, i-." willow shook her head as she began to play with the hem of her shirt. "you're not the first person that's said i don't remember them so this is a little weird. i've been okay though. i feel weird about that this keeps happening, but yeah i've been okay."

Connor nods and leaves his head bowed a little. "I'm sorry. I don't want to make things more weird for you. But I'm glad you're okay. I know its weird that people keep coming up to you, but trust me, we all care about you and we have your back. If you need anything, we're there for you." He didn't want to get into the details but, he loved and admired her like an Aunt and wanted to make sure she knew she had people she could depend on.

"i'm glad that i at least looked like i had my shit together for you. because then you didn't know how much of a mess i really was," veronica let out a laugh as she looked in to his eyes. gosh how was he able to put her so much at ease? that was until his last sentence. "connor," she started as she took a deep breath in. "that---is a huge choice to make. you know that right? i wouldn't want you to make that big of a choice on my account."

Connor frowns a little and holds her closer. "I should have paid closer attention. How are you feeling now?" He asks while feeling as though he had let her down, despite the fact she seemed relieved. "You're part of the reason, but so is Dad and myself. I ... I don't know if I got the immortal gene and I don't want that to be an issue later. But I wouldn't do anything soon. Dad already told me not to do it when I text him that I was thinking about it. First conversation we've had in months."

her  smile  only  widened  at  the  mention  of  her  career.  “you  did?  well,  it's  good  to  know  that  my  cards  are  getting  out  there  okay!”  alex  mused  with  a  small  chuckle.  “please,  bother  me  all  you  want  if  it  means  i  can  get  some  more  work!  i'm  always  happy  to  chat  with  a  client.”  she  assured  with  a  wave  of  her  hand.  “congratulations!  that's  amazing!  i  would  love  to  do  that!  would  you  wanna  set  up  a  meeting  or…  we  can  start  discussing  things  now,  if  you'd  like?”

Connor smiles happily at the other's joy. "We found your company info really easy, so hopefully that helps business pick up soon. And we'd be happy to promote you at the club." The man offers with a smile. "Thank you! Yeah, I'd love to get a meeting scheduled with you for you to meet Veronica. But I can give you more information on the club now if you want."

An eyebrow arched as he spoke, taking that in. Usually, this version of her would roll her eyes, snap back some dry remark about what he'd said...for some bizarre reason, she didn't feel the need to do that. Why did he seem so familiar? "Ugh, whatever. But do I know you from somewhere? 'Cause you seem weirdly familiar. But, like, I've never left DC. Some weird chick was trying to tell me I'm from California the other day, isn't that so crazy?"

Connor didn't let himself hold out too much hope that deep down she was remembering him. His Aunts and Uncles always called him 'Junior' because of how like Angel he was. So he just assumed she wasn't remembering him but Angel. "Yeah, that is really weird. What was her name?" Connor asks focusing on that instead of her other question.

a child of... two vampires somehow. not half vampire half human. was that what he was? the proximity to her own family's history in regards to those, the irina of it all, had tanya's stomach sinking. but she wasn't in a snowy field anymore, and the volutri weren't here. her eyes shut, and she processed it. "i did not know two vampires could have children, i suppose... my kind can't." she admitted, frowning. she guessed it explained the heartbeat with the smell that was distinct from any she'd come across. "depends on what you mean. what types are we talking about?"

"My parents type can't either. I'm considered a miracle kid. I'm only possible because the powers that be, I don't know what you'd call them. The ancient powers? Decided I should exist. I'm one of a kind as far as I can tell and that hasn't always been great." He tries to explain as briefly as he could. "There are three different... variations? Of vampires in the city as far as I can tell. Each of them are unique in some way."

Thanks to the senses he had inherited from his vampire parents, he could usually tell who was a vamp and who wasn't. He approaches the woman without a heartbeat and gives a polite nod. "Don't feel called out but, I can tell you're a vamp. I just have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind." @vcndetta

“you  can  totally  tell  me  to  butt  out  and  stop  asking  questions  but…  can  i  ask  what  made  you  stop  working  in  social  care?”  millie  questioned  with  a  slight  raise  of  her  brow.  this  wasn't  what  she  thought  she  would  do,  once  upon  a  time.  “what  did  you  get  into  instead?”  she  was  curious.

Connor chuckles as he shakes his head. "Nah, I'd never tell you that." He says with a smile before listening to what she had to ask. The man could understand why she was asking. "I'm not leaving forever, just for now. A little break. Time to honor one of my Uncles. He used to have this karaoke bar and he helped people on their path in life. So I just want to get it up and going and hopefully he'll find his way here, take it over and I'll come back to social work."

“ I suppose that I do . What is it ? “ Irina stopped where she was , turning towards the young man . It wasn’t often that humans approached her , she supposed . But either way , she was glad , because this could turn out in her favour . As everything usually did for her , as she knew it .

"First off, I'm not here as a threat, but I know you're a vamp. My parents are vampires and I inherited most of the abilities. It's always the missing heartbeat that gives it away." Connor says with a very slight smile pulling at the corners of his lips in a polite way but not exactly happy. He himself still had a beating heart but the senses, speed, strength and healing of a vampire. "Hopefully you know there are different types of vamps. I was wondering if you knew of anyone with one type of vamp dna that got turned by a different type and how that effected them."

Weird things seemed to keep happening to her lately, things Cordelia really couldn't explain. First off, someone had tried to claim she was from a place called Sunnydale, which was crazy - she'd never even heard of it. Now this guy thought she knew him? There was something almost familiar, but she couldn't quite place it. Much like her visions and memories of home, it was repressed for the time being. "Should I remember you? Did we go to high school together? Because I was a little too busy being popular to notice losers."

"It would be helpful if you did, I won't lie about that." Connor says before rolling his eyes a bit. "When I went to school, I wasn't the most popular, but I wasn't the bottom of the barrel either. I could've made a great jock but I don't hangout with bullies. But they knew I was strong enough to kick their asses so they left me alone." Granted those were mainly false memories except for the few months he actually spent in school before college, but she didn't need to know that.
