âYouâve never heard of Marc Jacobs then. Started as a nobody, sold one line and became a success overnight. Heâs the youngest person to receive the Council of Fashion Designers of Americaâs Perry Ellis awards which proves that the name doesnât matter so much as you have what everybody wants.â With a smile she added, âAnd that will be me one day. Iâm already a year younger than he was when he won. Just a little more innovation and imagination and I could beat his record.â She wasnât naive enough to believe that it wouldnât be hard but she wasnât giving up hope. Take away clothes and designing and what did she have left? Not much so she was going to let that go no matter what stood in her way.
âWhat, did you have some master plan to conquer the entirety of Alphonse before road blocks stood in your way? Someone thinks highly of themselves? Howâs the view from up there?â she teased and then took another sip of her soda before pausing to burp. âYeah? What kind, like paintings? Drawings? Sculpture? As long as heâs not making you do work during break. Thatâd drastically cut into partying time.â
He had to be honest that heâd heard of Marc Jacobs before. But the rest of what she said was heard on deaf ears. Fashion labels, brands, or designers were not his cup of tea and really he had no idea what the deal with fashion was. He dressed in what made him feel good and thatâs as far as clothing went for him. Preferablly he liked to be in as little of it as possible anyway. âIf thereâs anyone that could do it, itâs you Mick-Mack.â He laughed and shook his head as he stretched his legs out towards the railing, resting his feet on top of it. Perks of being tall. âI donât have some sort of plan. But you ladies are attractive even if the thought of living in the same house as those who I could have potentially slept with would have ended up strange. Though Sofia and Tiserious seem to make it work.â He rolled his wrists as he seemed to sink further into the chair. âPaintings for some exhibit theyâre having over the break for investors or parents or something.â He scoffed. âPlease as soon as Iâm done on Friday I am out of here.âÂ
@chasingaiden @nextbigbrooks remind me to find someone else to watch her. there were paint footprints everywhere after one âprojectâ

âWhat, you think that my name alone wonât be able to get the models to help me out on my own?â she asked, crossing her arms while her lips curled up in the corners in amusement. âI mean, I donât make ugly shit.â At his response she shook her head and laughed, it was the only thing she could do when it came to him and boys like him. âOkay, I think youâre overreaching with the âall the timeâ part but if that makes you feel better about yourself, you go right on ahead.â She patted his arm. âLike organize, make, researchâŠ?â
âWhen youâre just starting out as a no name? Duh.â Connor knew well enough how competitive the world of fame could be. Ever since he was born heâd been forced to live in it and knew the insides and outs of it all. Itâs that knowledge exactly that he refused to go into a career that involved such matters. âI can get laid every night or day if I wanted but thankfully I donât want to. Just because the girls in this house--well almost all of them--are untouchable, doesnât mean I canât succeed.â He sighed deeply. âMr. Mendoza is making me do some extra work for the Art Club this week before Spring Break. Plus Iâve got a piece to finish for class.âÂ

âEh, I wasnât in the mood to actually get up today,â Mickey replied. âThe good weather has made me lazy. And Iâm not being âcreeptasticâ,â she added, reaching out her hand to punch him in the arm. âItâs not like Iâm paparazzi or anything. Iâm just taking candid shots, good ones anyway. No oneâs picking their nose or picking a wedge or anything. And I always ask if I can use it so Iâve done nothing wrong.â She rolled her eyes yet her shoulders shook from her suppressed laughter. âFine. But only if you be sure to go around telling people who took the photo in the first place. You got a deal. So, why arenât you spending more time out there trying to hit on some girls?â
His eyebrows rose up as he took another sip of his drink. He hadnât meant to get her defensive but he couldnât deny seeing the tiny girl so riled up really was a sight he was enjoying. âOf course I will. Iâll even be sure to get you an in with some of the more famous models of the time.â He leaned backwards and stretched out his legs. âI like to take time off every now and then. Besides I have other things I like to do other than get laid all the time.â He smirked to himself slightly. âI needed the time outside plus Iâve got a day full of art to work through.âÂ

âIs not. I have older brothers. They stink to high heaven after they play basketball,â she said with a shake of her head. âUnless you somehow grow flowers from your armpits youâll most likely be the same way.â She chuckled at the image that appeared in her mind and took another sip of her soda. She slowly screwed the cap back on and looked at his back. âAnd I suppose you ooze suaveness out of your orifices?â she asked with a popped eyebrow. âWell, you have swagger Iâll give you that and you better appreciate me saying that because thatâs the first and last time Iâll ever use that word seriously. Or ever.â
Her eyebrow was met with a smirk that was filled with satisfaction as she pushed off the railing and sat in the chair beside hers. He took hold of an unopened bottle of soda and took a long chug before responding to her. âI will cherish this moment forever in my heart, Micks.â He put down the bottle once more. âWhy arenât you out there taking photos? Or are you in the mood for some creeptastic photos like the one you shot of me before? Not that Iâm upset. Just be sure to send me a copy of it. Iâll save it for my portfolio should I ever go into modeling.âÂ

Her eyebrows dropped and her nose wrinkled to properly convey how much of a bad idea she thought that was. âAre you crazy? You being sweaty is the issue. Iâm not hugging you when youâre sweaty. Youâll get your boy stink on me. And by the way, hugging you wouldnât make the girls around here jealous.â She relaxed in her seat and crossed one ankle over the other. âNow, if your name were Marco Perez, then that would do the trick,â she continued with a smirk of her own.
âBoy stink is an urban myth. I promise.â He put down his arms and tossed his shirt from his shoulder to along the railing. He leaned against the railing and looked out at the campus below them. âMarco may be Hispanic and pretty looking but lacks the suaveness of someone who actually cares about their state of dress.â Connor held nothing against Marco Perez but did feel a need to defend his own honor.Â

âYour cheek bones have nothing to do with lighting unless you have some strange light source following you around,â she pointed out, sticking out her tongue at his smirk. She fought the urge to roll her eyes, this was Connor being Connor after all. The same guy who struted around Alphonse without a shirt on was a little too cocky. And she wasnât one to turn away company of any sort when she could get it so she settled back in her rocking chair and waited for him to join her up on the second floor balcony. âI swear one day youâre gonna die if you canât say anything that makes you appeal full of yourself. Youâve been spending too much time with Aiden. What do you two talk about when youâre together? Which one is prettier than the other?â
His smirk continued to stay even as she stuck out her tongue. He tossed his shirt over his shoulder and placed his hands on his hips. âIâm just naturally gorgeous.â His eyebrows rose as he listened to her. âWe compliment each other and give each other hair tips. Weâre a loving bromance, Mick-Mack.â He didnât give her a chance to respond before jogging up the front stairs and making his way all the way up to the second floor balcony. As he opened up the door, he held out his arms. âCome give me a hug. Iâm sweaty but you can tell the other girls you got a hug from me to make them jealous.âÂ

There was nothing quite like the beautiful sunny days at Lefeuvre. It brought more people outside to study, do homework, or hang out on the Quad. Music poured out of an ipod dock somewhere in the distance that made Mickey dance in the rocking chair she was lounging in. Well, really only her shoulders moved since she was scrolling through photos on her digital camera as her feet resting on Alphonseâs balcony railing pushed her forward and back. She blindly reached out for her glass of Diet Coke. Beads of condensation dripped down the edge of the glass and then settled into her palm as she brought the glass close to her mouth and took a sip of it. She had barely set it down when she dropped her feet, leaning over the railing and snapped a picture of the person walking by. âHey, is it alright if I use this pic for class? The natural lighting was amazing, I couldnât pass it up. Iâll pay you in Diet Coke if you want,â she called down, waving to the pitcher that sat on the table near her.
The beautiful weather only had enticed Connor more to take a longer run than normal. Starting off at the house heâd been more than happy to spend time outside. The warm weather felt like home and while the familial circumstances of that werenât ideal, he always loved the contentedness that came over him from the sun. It took a little more convincing on the gloomier days to get out and do his exercise routine and while he wasnât exactly the most committed in every other aspect of his life, this was what he was consistent in. With Alphonse in sight, he slowed his pace a bit. The sight of two girls taking advantage of the warmer weather made him stop and he smirked at them as he passed by. Deciding he wasnât ready just yet to head inside, Connor placed his phone down onto the ground and removed his sweaty tank. Unafraid to show off his body, he felt no qualms by the looks he received as he stood on the lawn of his house. Just as he was about to move from staring out at the grounds a familiar voice broke through his haze. Looking up at the balcony, Connor smirked, âI always have good lighting. Itâs in my bone structure. Payment isnât necessary, Mick-Mack, but Iâll join you anyway.âÂ
Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
I donât think there is one singular person for everyone. I think each person is different in each part of their lives. One relationship is not necessarily good for one person. Fuck, this is why people have exes. I donât really have much info on true love or really an opinion on it. Someone could have more than one true love.Â
Lucky you. I was actually looking for Sofia, but youâre on the art track, too, right? Show me some of your work. Iâve got a commission piece I need done and it could be yours if youâre good enough. Or you could just point me toward Sofiaâs last known location.
Oh business. My second favorite kind of meeting. Depends on the piece. My art style may not fit it, in which case, Sofia's may. Here's my portfolio. I always have one handy.Â
Drinking isnât really my thing but it sounds like you enjoy the holiday enough for the both of us, so thatâs okay. Oh yeah? Who is it? Are you going to ask her out or something?
Ew, dude. No dates. Just hook up and sex. Commitment isn't my thing.Â
I refuse to answer that to avoid possible self-incrimination. But if you were to look up the search history on my roomies laptop you might find something about how to create a basic paint bomb. I donât know what she was doing searching for that, though. Fingers crossed the teachers donât look into it.
Sneaky. Sneaky. You're hot when you're mischievous which one could argue is always.Â
I get that a lot. Please, do your best not to fall in love with me.
Love is for losers and desperate people.Â
Ti-Serious has a girlfriend? Huh. Wonder how much he paid her to ride his dick. Must be good money if they actually want to get stuck with that label. I second that vote and, as we all know my vote means we have to do it. Bro, you better share or else Iâll think twice about passing a girl along your way.
He does. I'd consider having a piece of that ass if it meant I wouldn't have to deal with the cranky nerd as a roommate. I'm too lazy for that. You're already pretty stingy at sharing, bro. But of course I would share with my favorite bro.Â
