I can’t say I’ve ever done it, but if I were going to, yeah! I’ll run down to the kitchen in a sec. Bleh, I agree! My allergies were never this bad in New York, there’s so much green here, which is pretty, but not great for my nose. I’m not looking forward to going home, but maybe they’ll be better there.
I haven’t either but it’s like drinking for the first time. Do it with a friend so they can check you and make sure you don’t do anything stupid or dangerous. Maybe we should all just move to New York during the Spring and have classes there. I’m not ready to go home yet. I want to stay here longer. Can we stop time?

Walking on Sunshine || Connor & Mickey
He had to be honest that he’d heard of Marc Jacobs before. But the rest of what she said was heard on deaf ears. Fashion labels, brands, or designers were not his cup of tea and really he had no idea what the deal with fashion was. He dressed in what made him feel good and that’s as far as clothing went for him. Preferablly he liked to be in as little of it as possible anyway. “If there’s anyone that could do it, it’s you Mick-Mack.” He laughed and shook his head as he stretched his legs out towards the railing, resting his feet on top of it. Perks of being tall. “I don’t have some sort of plan. But you ladies are attractive even if the thought of living in the same house as those who I could have potentially slept with would have ended up strange. Though Sofia and Tiserious seem to make it work.” He rolled his wrists as he seemed to sink further into the chair. “Paintings for some exhibit they’re having over the break for investors or parents or something.” He scoffed. “Please as soon as I’m done on Friday I am out of here.”
“Well, thank you. I’m going to do my best at the very least.” She drained the rest of her glass and set it on the ground, careful not to knock it over. “Yeah, I don’t think I could ever do that. For one, people look a hell of a lot different in the morning and two you’d have to see their face. Every day. And they make it work ‘cause they’re not normal. Tiber isn’t, anyway.“ She hummed at his response. She remembered hearing something about an exhibition but it all went over her head now. They’d come up with any reason to try and bait new people into giving money to the school. “Generous donations” they called it. But they weren’t stupid, they knew some sort of deals were going on to bring in more money. “Yeah? Where are you headed? Let me guess, some tropical island paradise.”
Reconnecting | Mickey & Samuel
After his talk with Kirby a few days earlier, Samuel had realised that it had been a while since he last checked in with Mickey. It was entirely his fault for their lack of communication, of course, with both his studies and his new girlfriend taking up most of his time, but he was determined not to let things or friendships fall by the wayside just because he was a taken man now. There was also the fact that Mackenzie had warned him about Mickey’s reaction to finding out about their change in relationship status and he wanted to avoid any awkward public confrontations about how much kissing they were doing. More than anything, though, he just wanted to see her and hang out and make sure she was still good.
He dropped by her dorm, knocking on the open door but waiting in the hallway. “I’ve brought you your favourites,” he said, lifting up the box of sugary cupcakes he’d brought with him. “In the hopes that I can weasel my way back into your good graces after being the world’s most distant friend. Can I come in?” He smiled hopefully.
Mickey looked up from the notebook that housed her creative writing homework, or was supposed to anyway. She was having a hard time coming up with something to write about in a memoir-like fashion.Truthfully she didn’t think she experienced anything worth writing about. Not when she went to a school where private jets were the new sweet sixteen gifts. She removed her reading glasses with a small smile and set them aside.
“To be fair, guessing that red velvet cupcakes are my favorite isn’t that hard to figure out,” she said and gave a toss of her red hair for emphasis. And while her stomach growled at the sight of them she motioned for him to set the box down on her dresser. She closed her notebook with a snap and tossed it off her bed. “While you’re not the worst you’ve redeemed yourself simply from keeping me from having to do homework. Partially, anyway. I’m still bitter about the last to know about your upgrade. I thought we were better friends than that.”
