He loved her, and as hard as it was to say out loud, he meant every word, every letter, everything. He never meant for this to happen; it just did. He tried to hold it back, but it fell just like he did. He held it in until he couldn't. He knows that she loves him, but he has to tell her. She can't even look at his tearful eyes anymore. He needed to laugh, but not as much as he needed a good cry. He felt every emotion crashing down in that moment. Every wall, every barrier he had built, all crashed at once. But worst of all, the dam he built collapsed, and it all came tumbling down.
He always took the fall even when it wasn't his job to. He always took the punch and never punched back. He bottled it all up and never let it out, but he finally broke. Have you ever loved someone so much that they were all you thought about? That was Conrad to Belly. She pushed him, she yelled at him, but he never backed down. He always spoke the truth, no matter what. If Belly couldn't see that, then she didn't deserve his truthful, honest eyes. The episode from his perspective changed my views forever. He didn't admit to Belly that he loved her to make things difficult, he had to tell her, or else he would never feel whole again. That's just Connie. -Hazel H
He fixes what he breaks, but he breaks what he tries to fix. He is a lover, not a fighter, unlike Jere. He doesn't use anyone for anything other than love. He doesn't need anything other than a shoulder to cry on. He's been through so much, and yet he still stands tall. He keeps his feelings bottled up, but he is always willing to open up. He is that kind of person who makes you think they are too perfect to be real.
