OOC - I don't want to sound like a weirdo but I'm going to sound like a weirdo anyway. This whole time, I've shipped BW/GB and I can't help but feel entirely heartbroken to know that one of you is leaving. ):

Of course it would be a loss! Your Sherlock is very unique. He actually stays in character. He isn't totally cold and cut off, but he isn't all over emotional. (Which, strangely enough, I've seen in some Sherlock RPers.) Is there anything we can say or do to make you change your mind?

Everyone has their own way of playing their characters and I did my very best to remain as true to canon as possible. I've been a very big fan of Sherlock Holmes ever since I read the books by Arthur Conan Doyle when I was little.I've grown up, watching black and white reruns of the old series, taking in every actors own personal twist of the iconic man int he funny hat. Absolutely fell in love with RDJ's version, but who the hell didn't. When this modern character came about, he was so much more easier and more familiar to convey, I just had to take a shot.Actors, same with players, all have their own little tweaks to add to the character to make it more their own. I'm not here to bash, but I've seen a few examples of what you may be talking about. It could very well depend on the story arch they're in which caused the character to change.As far as convincing me to stay, I'm finding it more and more difficult to pry myself away after reading everyone's farewells. I had no idea that I had so many devoted followers that still even kept up with this thing.

Are you sure about this? You have so many people that love your Sherlock, it'd be a real loss to the fandom, I think, for you to go.

Not entirely.

As I've said, it's a hard decision to make. I'll still need my fix of deductions and as it were, I've been promised to have a few cases tossed my way to help figure out when the situation calls for it. ♥I doubt that my stepping down would be a great loss though.

Sorry, but I'm afraid I don't have very much information to give.There will most likely be casting calls in order to find a replacement for myself. I'm sure there are others out there who would be more then willing to take up the role. As for when or if that's going to happen, I'm sorry but I just don't know.-GB

This was going to happen eventually and I am so, so sorry to have to do this. As much as I love each and every single one of my cast mates and all of you beautiful lovely followers, I feel like my time here is done. I've been nothing more then a complete disappointment to this super amazing group and feel as if it's all my fault that we've lost some of our players over the past few months due to my lacking activity. That isn't to say that I don't adore our replacements, you guys are golden and portray your roles well. Being in the position that I'm in, I should be on much more then I am and should be far more active in order to give the wonderful fans what they want. It kills me to leave, but to stay would only seem as if I was just squatting and dragging the rest of the cast's potential down. I can not apologize enough. This breaks my heart to say good bye to you guys. Especially to my Jawn. You deserve a much better detective, hun.
