Luke 24:5- “…Why do you seek the living among the dead?”

ζητειτε -zeteo - dzay-teh’-o - means: to seek; specially, (in Hebraism) to worship.

So not only is the angel telling the woman (in a backwards way) that Jesus is risen, but he is also asking her a profound question: Why would you come to worship a god who is dead?

He is risen. My God is alive. HAPPY EASTER

I Stand Amazed

This week has been so wonderful. God has really blessed me with the ability to be involved in the spiritual growth in the lives of the people closest to me.

Even though Christ has been preparing my heart for this journey for a while now, this week has really pushed me forward in my faith.

Sunday I felt the Lord speaking to me through my pastor during the morning service. I had been seeing Him reveal aspects of my life that needed work, and what He wanted me to ask for. Prayer has been driving my life lately. I have become stronger in depending more on Lord and less on myself or the world. But He has revealed to me that I need to work on my relationship with Him. Just being able to rest in His presence and enjoy being his daughter.

I am beyond overjoyed in the presence of the Lord. The things He has revealed to me lately pass all possible human explanation. Only God has the power to transform our dirty lives into complete beautiful works of art.

Prayer is pretty handy too.

And life is impossible to live successfully without faith.

As a matter of fact, true living can only begin when you finally and completely surrender your heart to the Lord.

Just today, I was speaking with my friend about how God has recently wrecked her life. She has gone from living in distress to consumed with joy.

I also feel the Lord moving in several other close friends. I can see Him shifting their perspectives from the selfish vanities of this world, to the only thing really worth living for, that's Him.

Glory be to the Most High God. You are in total control. With You, we may never fail.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14

It's been a while.

I for one, am not going to pretend that I am an avid blogger. I think it's been about six months since I've last been spotted on here.

Thankfully the Lord doesn't take near that long when you ask Him to turn your life upside down. In fact, He starts working immediately.

Needless to say, a lot has changed from the last time I've blogged. I feel that the Lord has blessed me numerous things. I can't even imagine trying to list them all.

But...

The one that brought me here,

The one that has me bursting with excitement,

The one that I'm having trouble waiting this long to finally talk about,

Is how he completely consumed my heart with love.

That's all I want to do; to love people as Jesus did.
