Summary:

Victor’s been set up on a blind date by Chris. The past few he’s been on have been rough, but with the holidays around the corner, he’s a little desperate for companionship. So he agrees to meet in a lovely little coffee shop with someone who, apparently, has ‘the cutest butt’ (Chris’s exact words). It turns out he’s just dying of thirst.

New Fic: It’s Only Magic

Okay! So, I said I’d been working on something new, and here it is. It’s something pretty different from what I’d normally write, but it’s been exciting to work on. 🙌 It’s going to update fairly quickly during December. (There’s also a Christmasy-type thing or two in the works that will be coming soon) 🎄✨

It’s Only Magic Summary: ✨

Soulmates are the one thing Yuuri doesn’t believe in. He’s never actually met anyone who’s had one. Not that he needs to see to believe. Alternate realities? Sure. Magic so powerful it breaks the laws of their world? Probably. Yokai and Spirits that exist on another plane of existence? Yup. But someone who’s pre-destined to love you? No, that’s going too far.

But Yuuri finds it increasingly hard to deny his soulmate’s existence when he wakes up in the darkest, worst situation imaginable and hears Victor’s voice in his head.

Hey all! (Is anyone out there?)

So, a bit of news: I’ve been working on YCPfE slowly, but right now I’ve been needing to take a bit of time to figure out where, exactly, I want to go with it. (Such is the problem with writing as you go.) 🤷‍♀️

It’s a bit of a crossroads - do I go the long route I originally planned, or do I say ‘fuck it’, and go somewhere completely different. Anyway, I’m just having an existential crisis over how I should take the next couple chapters. 😳 Once I figure things out, I’ll be back to posting. I just don’t want to get ahead of myself just yet.

In the meantime, however, I’ve been writing other things! 🎉 (Still for YoI) It’s totally different, and I have no clue if it’s any good, but I’ve been enjoying writing it. I’ll be posting on a fairly quick schedule this December, starting (hopefully) on the 3rd. I hope you’ll give it a chance and have a read! 😘🥰

I’m excited for it too! (I don’t want to give anything away this time, though.😏)

I won’t be able to get it to you this week. I ended up being way more tired after my trip (drove over 3,500km & walked over 100km), and haven’t been able to do much writing. I’ll work on the next chapter over the weekend and see where I am after that. I’m going to assume that I should have it ready for next week.🎉

Even if it’s not the news you probably want, here’s a picture from my trip to give you a little happiness!
