What is ControlledVerse?

ControlledVerse is an UTMV AU where many of the typical “main” UTMV characters are controlled by Players from the “real” world.

A select few Players are given a special copy of their chosen game, and from there, the ControlledVerse awaits them.

All games given to most of the Players are copies of different universes inside the multiverse. The special copies given to certain Players are actually gateways into different universes.

But, how do these games get to them? Enter:

The HAND CORE corporation, the world’s number 1 producer and distributor of video games. From their instant hit classic of “UNDERRALE” their game roster has only kept on increasing, with more “UNDER” and “TALE” games spawning off from the original.

The members of ｢HAND CORE｣ do this to raise the ｢FUN｣ value of the multiverse, to unlock the true “core” of it—to unlock Deltarune. Deltarune the game doesn’t exist for the people in “real” world because it can’t even be reached.

But ｢HAND CORE｣ aren’t the only ones who give others “special” games. ｢TAINT｣ is a group who also wants to unlock Deltarune, typically being people who used to work for ｢HAND CORE｣ in the past. But have their own ways of doing things, and their own goals.

THE MAIN STORY:

In Dreamtale, the Player controls Nightmare, and goes to other AU to spread their Negativity. Player ｢CURRO｣, a Dreamtale Player, meets up with ｢HACKER｣, an Undertale Player who figured out how to gain control over their Sans.

Player ｢CURRO｣ is surprised to meet another Player, especially since Dreamtale wasn’t marketed as a multiplayer game. And this new Player, how did they hack their game to control Sans, of all characters? Player ｢HACKER｣ convinces Player ｢CURRO｣ to build a team of fellow Players, promising to answer all his questions then.

Player ｢CURRO｣ wonders if they’ll be able to answer why all the characters seem so real, too.
