How does witch magic work?

the witch's are pretty mysterious characters always a very important part of the plot but more like forces of nature then actual characters well unless your talking about witch's castle which leads me into the next problem since all the games are different timelines it's hard to say what the dative powers of the witch's are. what we do know that applies to all the games is, the witch's making power is to give life to the cookies and their world through baking. they seem to somehow bake life power into the very dough the cookies are made from. there is also another group called the wizards that seem to take a more scientific approach to making life. another interesting thing to note is the witch's intent is very unclear through out the series. at some points they are openly hostiles to the cookies but other times they act as apathetic gods.

why do people not blame the witch's more. now don't get me wrong I have seen plenty of people hating on them and making jokes about how they fucked over the virtues but at the same time it feels like most of the responsibility is placed on the cookies and beast ( not saying they are not responsible for their own actions) I think the witches and the situation they put the virtues in is a very important part of why they corrupted. i also think that one of the main reasons that people don't hold the witch's accountable like they do the cookies is because the witch's are more like forces of nature. they are above the cookies in power and height so it's easy to look at the things they do more as natural disasters than a malicious act. especially In crk and crob the witches are always in the shadows their intentions and motivations a mystery . this is nothing like witch's castle where the backstory of some of the witch's are reviled and we even get to hear them speak.

Hello! Sorry to bother you, but what do you think about the souljams? What are they? Are they sentient? If they are, is it a retcon or not? I myself did not believe its a retcon but some people on twt believed that it is and i rather want a second opinion on this

now on to the soul jams, I would say without a doubt they are definitely sentient. and I would also say it is not a retcon I assume you are talking about them talking to elder fairy in the new episode. I don't understand why people would think that is a retcon. we have seen the ancient's soul jams talk to them in the crispia episodes. for what they are I would say they are tools that were gifted to the virtues that were meant to help them and give them power. since they can talk the witch's might have also intended to have them guild the virtues to success. this would connect to how in the new ep they say that the virtues were failures. it would also make sense to put the virtues power into something that could be easily taken from them if they ever became evil ( Which was exactly what happened) and then given to new heroes.

Can we get the Spirit weapons lore :> honestly they feel like better Ancients

Oooo this one is fun because no one ever talks about them

there was once a hero that fought against the ebony dragon. in their fight they welded the spirit weapons. although they were not successful in defeating the dragon they were able to put all their power into the weapons making them sentient and entrusted them to to their four disciples. who were them able to finally defeat the dragon. but even though they won the desiples did crumble. but this was not the end for the spirit weapons. the desiple's determination combined with the magic of the lands of marshal tarts to give the weapons their own body's. they then gathered clands of like minded cookies to seal away the ebony dragon's power in the Dragonbind Shrine.

now after the longan dragon war ginger brave and his group are searching for the dragon orbs that longan left behind. their goal is to find them so they can seal them away so longan will never return. after having no luck they come to the lands of marshal tarts and find peach and plum cookie who tell them that the legends of the spirit weapons are true. they also learn that a cult is trying to release the ebony dragon's power. so they now have to stop that.

the four spirit weapons are

A blade that "extends endlessly with just one strike"

A gauntlet that "never releases what it has grasped"

A fan that can "unveil shadows hidden even in the deepest darkness".

A spear that can "strike even that which is well out of reach".

Does the wiki need to clarify that Capsaicin's reasoning for initially disliking the title of "Spice Overlord" was because it was kind of equivalent to calling him "Satan" as a compliment, or am I just needlessly annoyed about that being lost in translation?

i don't really have many rules tbh the questions can be serious or REALY stupid ( I don't judge ) or even if you don't have a question and just want someone to yap to about lore i'm here for it too

Where do I even start? First I would like to say that I like bsc he is one of my favorite characters, definitely my favorite beast cookie. But let's be honest, his story has some problems. First of all I think that the main reason that his character is so often misinterpreted is because of how his backstory is portrayed in beast yeast 6. Now just to be clear I believe that people are going to misinterpret characters no matter what the writer does but I do also believe that in this case some of the responsibility falls on the writers. One thing that I noticed when I was playing beast yeast is that golden cheese says some stuff that aligned with common misconceptions about BSC for instance after she gets out of her weird magically endured flashback coma. She says

She basically claims he was " just bored" now. I don't think that having a character be wrong about another character's motivations is a bad thing. I just think that it wasn't properly shown that she was wrong. In Beast yeast we are basically seeing the story through the eyes of the golden cheese so if she says that BSC's motivations were him being " just bored " that's what we believe. I think that a good way to fix this would have been to make a character challenge this belief. I think that smoked cheese cookie would have been a good fit for this. He would kind of understand the feeling of having to keep watching the world go on and on since he was trapped in the virtual kingdom. The only problem with this is he didn’t see the flash back so he wouldn’t be able to fully understand what was really happening. Maybe instead of golden cheese blacking out and seeing the flash back it could be told through the paintings. It could be implied that BSC made them and they could slowly deteriorate. Then smoked cheese cookie and golden cheese could be on the same page. Then golden cheese could have her line about how BSC was just bored and then smoked cheese could say something like “ well Maybe he was tired” I don’t think that he needed to be constantly defending BSC but I think it would be nice if there was a little hint that golden cheese’s idea of BSC was flawed. I’m not saying that this would have completely fixed the issue of people misunderstanding BSC but I think it would have helped. I think that this is one of the main reasons his character is so horribly portrayed in the fandom.

burning spice character analyst

As you probably know a lot of people write off burning spice as a pure evil character. which 

I don't think is completely fair. Burning spice is a way more complex than the fandom or to be honest sometimes the game gives him credit for.  Which is very sad considering he is one of my favorite characters, I find it very interesting how he interacts with golden cheese and how he is portrayed as the herald of change.  So today I’m going to try to do his character some justice 

HOW HE INTERACTS WITH GOLDEN CHEESE COOKIE 

When you think of burning spice you probably also think of golden cheese. This is kind of obvious since they are the two halves of the soul jam. Most people just kind of assume that burning spice hates golden cheese. Which is admittedly understandable since he literally ripped her wings off. I mean we don’t know he could just be very physically affectionate. I think that this suffice level understanding of their interactions waters down their relationship a lot. Golden cheese definitely hates burning spice ( understandably) but burning spice doesn't necessarily hate her. In fact he kind of respects her in a weird roundabout way. When she escapes the cage he talks about how he thinks that she is crafty. When they are fighting he is laughing and having a great time. He thinks that she is a worthy opponent because of how strong she is. He gets sad when she fails at first. I think that this is a very interesting dynamic that is mostly just watered down to “ ha ha he hates her so much he wants to kill her” which is honestly ironic because sometimes it almost wants her to kill him. In one of his kingdom quotes he says “ I wonder... What will it take to destroy me?”  He is actively thinking about and seeking out ways to end himself. He probably sees her as that thing that could finally take him down. That is why he is so excited to find her. To finally find what he has been looking for for years of tormented liveing. 

PRE CORRUPTION

Before he was the beast of destruction he was the herald of change. His job was to watch over change. One of the biggest misconceptions about his character is the good old “ He onLY CorUpTED BecaUSe He waS BorD” I think we all have seen this. When burning spice uses the word bored he doesn't mean to lack interest in something he means  to get exhausted with something. Just replace bored with exhausted whenever he is lamenting and it becomes more clear. He uses the word bore in the same way the sentence “ the hero got bored of watching evil prevail"  dose. it  is not saying the hero was uninterested with what evil was doing, it's saying he got tired of it. Same thing with burning spice, he got tired of watching everything go on and on forever without changing. I think another big factor in this is how the beasts were created. We have no evidence that they were ever kids or got to have a childhood. In the beasts trailer it shows the beasts as adults coming down from the witch's hands. I don’t think the events that are portrayed in the trailers happen exactly as they are being shown but I do think that they are showing real events. Burning spice not having a childhood is important for a couple reasons. The big one being, he  was never given the chance to properly mature. Childhood is the time to make mistakes and learn from them, it’s the time to find out stuff about the world with little
