I smell like clay today 🙂

This is one of the best sleeper hits of the century like…. I was attracted to it when I got the sample set but it was a bit jarring and confusing. It was leathery and earthy but also kinda acidic. As nature can smell often so I was still fascinated by it but not enough to be the 2 scents I chose to buy full bottles of at the time Olympic orchids was doing their winter sale (hamsa & kyphi). But I put the sample away for months it’s been about 7 now actually and it’s settled in my nose to something so lovely u guys. It starts off purely leathery then after like 30 minutes the clay comes through and a dry grassy immortelle that I’m sure is party bc of the hay. It’s sweeter now to my nose and gentler. The majority of this apparently is made out of natural hay I read. And natural clay she sources from India. So if u like mitti attars this has that going on. Idk if I’ve had any experience with those but I want to now. It actually does remind me of the black knight which is a leather and vetiver scent and this ends on a vetiver note in the base. It’s just missing the pretty and buttery iris accord and replaces it with sun dried immortelle and clay soil and some saltiness. The black knight is when he’s polished and at the castle with a perfumed dark purple cloak that smells of iris over his shoulders. This is the same knight but traveling through dusty trails with sea water crashing over the other side of the cliff. When he peels off his leather gear and sweat runs down his chest I’d hope he smells like this
