--- about the blog ---
born to be a daily/reading/ecc... blog, forced to be nothing
I'm a serial procrastinator and this is the result
actually hating my blogs but don't want to start all over again / deleting past things, I'll just probably keep spamming stuff
I have the link to another blog of mine in which I do write (! some of that stuff is pretty old, read that at your own risk and remember that smth is "mdni"!)

"I trusted you" "I still don't understand why you did" by @muses-of-the-mind - betrayal prompts

cw: blood, mentions of fainting and throwing up (not in datails)
-
The night was cold, the sky outside clear.
In her heart everything was confused, stormed.
Blood was running down on his hand, skin stretched, ripped, glass everywhere, mirror broke in pieces, scattered on the white floor, which began to be painted in scarlet drops.
His eyes were lost somewhere else, far from the room, his mind far gone; her look was firmly on him, like she wanted to make sure he wasn't going to move. Or wasn't going away, at least.
"Hey, I trust you"
"I still don't understand why you do"
His voice was shaking, fear and anger weren't discernible from each other. He never meant to hurt anyone, not her. And he did not, at least not in the way he had thought.
Blood was running down on his hand and it didn't seem near to stop, while a single teardrop fell from her eyes.
And it hurted him more than every single piece of glass.
"Come on, you know I could never be afraid of you" She scolded him. Even then, with his angry eyes and shaking body in front of her, she couldn't be afraid, nor intimidated.
He was scared, no, he was terrified. He just wanted her to go away, never look at him again, nor talk to him, neither thinking of him.
He was disgusted by himself. His hands stained with blood, his body still full of rage, his head clouded, only desiring to scream. Scream.
"You're only hurting yourself"
His eyes snapped to her, looking right at hers.
"Don't you dare lie to me" he hissed angrily, "You're crying"
Her heart skipped a beat. One hand started raising slowly, fearful of what she could have found.
Water, tears.
"I- I didn't mean to" A whisper from her lips.
"You should go" Cold words from him.
The cold outside seemed to fall on the room.
"I don't want to-" She wept. Head spinning. She couldn't believe that. She wasn't afraid of him. She could have sworn that. No, it was impossible. Short, rapid breath. Mind clouded, spinning. No, it couldn't be.
A firm grip on her arms made her snap out of her own thoughts.
"Fuck, don't faint please" His worried look on her, finding her eyes to make sure she was fine.
Shaken body held by a shaken body, who was keeping who from falling apart wasn't known.
Her hands were gripped on his shirt, trying to ground her mind. She could feel his heart beating, his breath on her, his warmth. He was there.
"I'm here" He breathed out "I'm right here, damn, focus on me"
His frightened voice and his presence were the only things she could focus on. He was there.
On the other hand he was sinking in her perfume, her skin, her. Again and again.
He didn't want to let her go.
Then he saw it. The blood from his hand ran down her arm, onto her.
He clenched his jaw, gosh, he was nearly throwing up. Blood on her perfect skin was the last thing he ever wanted to see.
"I'm sorry"
The words echoed in the room. Their voices mixed together.
A slight chuckle left her mouth, while slowly softened the grip on him.
"You shouldn't have said that" He noted firmly and she looked at him confused.
"You neither, if that so"
He tried to look away, but her hand gently posed on his face, making him stop, not running away.
"Don't hide. You have nothing to apologize for" She muttered "Even if, you're not allowed. We made a deal, right?"
A soft smile spread from her lips to her eyes, while cupping his face with both hands. His were now leaning on her hips.
He sighted. "I should've known better before making that deal, shouldn't I?"
A limpid laugh from her filled the room.
"You're an idiot, come here" She beamed, swinging her arms across his shoulders.
Her head was right on his chest, he could smell her shampoo, her body pressed onto him. Her warmth, her breath, her. Again and again.
He didn't want to let her go.
"You're stupid to even think I'll ever leave you, trust me"
