my insurance wouldn't approve me to get my entyvio infusions at the hospital where my doctor works, so i gave them the name of an independent infusion center, and they approved it. then my doctor messages me and is like "why is a different center calling us for details about your infusions?" and i was like "cigna said the hospital's center is not approved, which i know is not true because i've had infusions at the hospital before, but i figured this whole process would be faster if i just agreed and went to a different center" and my doc was like "well we got an approval for the hospital's infusion center yesterday. do you want us to reject that approval so you can go to the other center?" and i was like "NO i'll do the infusion at the hospital if that's approved! i'll go anywhere! whatever is already approved, i'm there, let's do it!" and then she stopped responding so now i don't know what's going on
i wanted to call the center to schedule my infusion today, but now i don't know where the approval is for - the independent infusion center or the hospital's infusion center. and i don't want to call one of these places and try to schedule an infusion and set off a chain of events where i ended up calling the wrong place, and then they're like "oh you want your infusion here? great! we'll cancel the approval at the other place and start the approval process here! please hold for five to fifty business days while we do that!"
i don't care where i go! i really do not care!! someone just tell me where to go, and i'll go there!
the crux of the issues is nothing ever gets done if i don't call to get it done, but i don't know who to call because i don't wanna fuck things up by calling the wrong place, and it's SO FRUSTRATING AND STUPID
