chase update: storms provided torrential downpours, no lightning, poor visibility and one false tornado report 😀 2/10 HOWEVER it had some beautiful cumulonimbi

i’ll give el paso IL and minonk IL a 10/10 for terrain though. super flat with few obstructions. would absolutely chase there again given the chance. 🕺

#the tornado is believed to have been a brief gustnado but other chasers including myself who were on the storm saw nothing #the guy who reported it also reported a rotating wall cloud which we didn’t see either #no idea what he saw and not sure we ever will 🥲#weather rambles
