Copernicus: Get up, loser...it’s your turn to run this place. Palmiir: ...mmm...maybe in...tomorrow...
YOURE AROUND -hugs-
Yeah, as soon as I finish up commissions, I want to revamp the blog. It’ll be a pokemon rp blog, but Copernicus is still around for questions. He just mainly sits in his underwear and watches TV, but I can make him get up ;)
What sort of mischief , I should do today ?
I’m really digging that outfit :D
Good to know your okay c:
Yeah, I feel bad for not talking or logging in... Got busy with a crapton of stuff, then felt embarassed to log in again after so long. I’m sorry I disappeared -_-
I want to make this into a pokemon RP blog.
Kaos: Dekka the halls with boughs of holly~ Dekka: Sing that one more time and I’ll drink your cocoa.
(I wanted to show off my Christmas picture from my other account)
Creepers are creepers. They go boom.
These guys are real squares, man...
(From my other blog)
I just thought of something... I wonder what Copernicus will look like now. My style has changed a little.
I've been gone a long time... Partially because I got married, partially because Minecraft, and partially because I've been extra ornery due to foot problems.
Finished!
In October 2012, I did a commission for laspliten featuring their journeyer, Copernicus. To this day it has the highest notes I have ever received for anything I ever drew, so I felt it would only be appropriate to redraw it.
I hope it reaches just as far as the original did!
Prinnyemperor did an awesome picture of Copernicus! That detail is incredible. Thank you so much ^_^
-Yag assaults Copernicus in a hug- {I missed you!!!}

Very fun to draw! I tried my best on the colors, I apologize if they’re not 100% accurate.
(Oh good, I've been waiting for a picture of Sakato's cloak)
((This piece took a lot of time. It's a Scratchboard about my experiences with religion.))
Vanem felt more at ease himself. He felt the need to reciprocate Copernicus’ gesture and lifted his mask, revealing his face for the first time. Black hair streaked with gray framed a dark complexion, and a band of gold cloth encircled his head, from which dangled red and white threads.
"You have been very kind to me, thank you," Vanem said. "If there is a town or something similar nearby, I would very much like to visit there."
He wanted to know what kind of world he was in, and visiting its version of civilization would help. Besides, he might need supplies. Eventually he would have to explore this world and perhaps find some clue as to why he was there, and more importantly, how to get back.
Copernicus got a good look at Vanem’s face. He was actually a pretty handsome wayfarer. "Hey you’re not bad looking. I bet you have a lucky lady waiting for you somewhere back home, hehe." Copernicus grabbed a box of little clockwork toys. "We should go to the bazaar," he explained, "I sell these toys I make to get money for supplies." Copernicus started to head out of his cave dwelling and back to the sands. He moved away from the cliffs and a decent speed, obviously used to traveling toward this destination.
Vanem gave Copernicus a gentle smile at the unexpected compliment. He knew of only one female Wayfarer back home for whom he had any strong feelings, but he had not contacted her since the Journey had ended. Most of his other relationships had been far enough in the past that he tried not to dwell upon them. Vanem kept up with Copernicus easily. While he was an older Wayfarer, he was still in good shape, the Journey having forced him to remain fit. "Thank you for your kind words," said Vanem. He looked at the clockwork toys. "Those look quite well made. It was interesting to see Wayfarers pick up new tasks and crafts in my world once the Journey had ended. I daresay it led to a bit of an explosion of creativity."
"It really has led to a lot of creativity! You should see some of the clothes the local seamstresses make...and hear some of the music performed." Copernicus made his way up a particularly tall dune, leaving a trail of deep footprints in the soft sand. When he made it to the top, he stopped and looked out over the land. "Over there," he said to Vanem, pointing south, "That's where we're going." Out in the distance, one could see the faint shapes of tents and crude buildings that appeared to have been fixed up ruins. "They have a lot of neat things. You really get to see a lot of creativity there." Copernicus slid down the dune in a back and forth motion, leaving a wave shaped trail behind him.
(wow, this is late... I'm sorry ^_^;)
Vanem stared in wonder at the picture, tilting his head to one side. In all his travels, he had never seen the likes of such a thing. This creature was likely larger than even some of the war machines that he encountered on the Journey.
But that was as far as he would take the analogy. Copernicus had given him no reason for fear, and this changed nothing.
Vanem turned to Copernicus, noting his discomfort. “I am sure you are quite the magnificent sight in your world when you take flight,” he said, his tone and intention sincere. “I regret not seeing it in person. I am sorry if I discomforted you with my curiosity. Thank you for sharing this with me.”
Copernicus breathed a sigh of relief. He was glad his new friend wasn’t afraid of him. "It’s quite alright! My kind were large, but we were gentle." Copernicus put away the picture, not a trace of discomfort in his motions and voice anymore. "I can show you around if you would like." Copernicus straightened up a bit and got ready to go out through the large opening in the roof of his cave dwelling. "Anything in particular you would like to see?"

"Perhaps ‘begat’ was not exactly the appropriate word," said Vanem. "The Wayfarers from my universe were effectively created by the Ancestors in order to experience the Journey. In a way, I am like an avatar. I have been around long enough to have contact with my Ancestor, something which develops only with time and experience."
He listened to Copernicus’ brief description of an ahrehk’taur and pondered for a moment, looking only thoughtful and not fearful in the least. He had dealt with the War Machines — or whatever name they went by in this universe — since time out of mind, so much so that he had largely lost his fear of them. He doubted anything Copernicus could show him would rattle him.
"Yes, I admit to being curious as to what an ahrehk’taur looks like," Vanem said. After a pause he added, "I do hope I pronounced that right."
"I can show you then," Copernicus said as he got up. He moved over to a very rough looking wooden shelf and rummaged through some papers. He stopped at one and held it for a few seconds, looking at it. "This is me…in my original form," Copernicus said to Vanem.

"I had a wingspan of over 100 feet." Copernicus looked down, a little uncomfortable. Usually others were afraid of ahrehk’taurs…even in his home universe.
