The way radfems talk abt the oppression of women makes it sound like we live the the Handmaid's Tale. Like, holy fuck, yes misogyny is awful and I hate it but overly dramatizing it doesn't help.
I really don't like people who're like "yeah I'm an asshole 😎😎😎😎 idgaf what you think🖕🖕🖕deal with it 😎😎😎"
then 5 minutes later theyre like "why is everyone so mean to me???? what happened to FREE SPEECH huh?? So much for TOLERANCE"
Like, buddy.
Come on.
me: I’m doing pretty well, I feel pretty good me ten minutes later: not once in my life have I ever been ok
Fucking terfs be like "abolish beauty standards for women!!!!" and then they see any fucking woman who doesn't fit the conventional beauty standards for women and then be like "ew a trans woman" like honey you could at least TRY to hide the fact that you're an asshole.
Hot take: I hate school. I wish teachers would collaborate so they dont give their students 3 large assignments at once.
Okay so here's the reason a i made this blog in the first place: people care too much and I just don't anymore. There's people who tell you to shave, to not shave, wear this kind of makeup, don't wear makeup, this is art, this isn't art, everyone should believe this god, etc. In the past couple of days I've just been shocked by how much we care about what others are doing. We seem so invested in telling others what's right and wrong. I've found that you're most at peace when you just... stop caring. And you then get frustrated by others caring so much. I can't help but wonder why we don't just take the "I don't care anymore" approach. It'd make the whole world a chill place, wouldn't it?
