How does one run away from things running in his head all the time? 💔
August 21st, 2024
How do you feel when you wake up in the morning and find this view?
- Displaced Palestinian families spend their night on the beach after they were forcibly displaced by the occupation forces in Gaza Strip.
The Deir Yassin massacre, April 9, 1948.
The Deir Yassin massacre took place on April 9, 1948, when Zionist paramilitaries attacked the village of Deir Yassin near Jerusalem, Mandatory Palestine, killing at least 107 Palestinian villagers, including women and children.
The massacre was carried out despite the village having agreed to a non-aggression pact.
In addition to the killing and widespread looting, there may have been cases of mutilation and rape.
When will we rest from this even a little bit?
Rest from forcibly constant displacement from one place to another.
From our fear, anxiety, expecting the worst, and overthinking.
From the battles, we fight.
Israel has just forced people to evacuate Al-Aqsa hospital because they’re about to obliterate it for absolutely no reason whatsoever, other than to destroy every single healthcare system in Gaza.
Soon, Israel will put forth disgusting lies about it being a “Hamas base” with absolutely no evidence, no proof, no nothing. None of them will bear an iota of truth.
Since October 7, out of 36 hospitals in Gaza, only 4 of them had not been damaged by Israeli munitions, gone out of service or raided by IDF terrorists. This is a genocide.
Where do they go?
A new displacement of citizens from different places in Deir-Balah and Salah Al-Din road, as the army called the safer place.
Many people are homeless without any shelter.
I wonder,
Does everyone feel the pain to the same degree or does it vary from person to person?
We studied at the university that burns are classified into three degrees according to their severity.
The most severe is third-degree burns, but there is no feeling or sense of pain because the sensory receptors have been destroyed.
why when we burn inside we feel like our heart is going to come out of its place? Then we can’t tolerate the pain anymore.
Note: I got the picture from a social media site.
I’m curious to know if the end of this war in this novel will be the same end or another one imagined by the writer.
Is what the novel talked about the same in detail or something else is different from the truth?
I don't think anyone can describe what really has happened. The other narrators talked about what happened in the Nakba of 1948, and we did not believe or imagine all that actually happened.
But what happened in this war was the most terrible, the most tragic, and suffering.
All I know is not a story of the war on Gaza. It is a genocide.
This is rudeness, to write about pains and feelings that have not yet recovered. I feel sorry for everything we've been through the past 10 months.
I will never forget this.
The fear and trauma from the sounds of Israeli missile strikes caused her heart to stop. She was just a little baby.
No censorship for Gaza.
The decapitated body of a child was recovered two hours after being targeted at the entrance of Abu Arif Street in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip by Israel.
His name is Abdulrahman Jamal Al-Khatib, 14 years old.

Everyone has a superhero. For any girl in the world, her superhero is her father.
He is our hero. He is a doctor. Before this ongoing genocide, he worked at Al-Shifa Hospital. He is a wonderful plastic surgeon, loves his work and is committed to it, to help people and relieve their pain.
When We were forced to be displaced to Al-Shifa Hospital at the beginning of the war, he was still committed to his work. He worked nonstop for 40 days, besides caring for his family, especially in these difficult times!
But unfortunately the occupation stormed and burned the hospital after We were forced to evacuate , raising white flags. We could not carry anything, just our souls. We fled to the south on foot. He carried his two children in his arms, and walked long distances for many kilometers during the afternoon among tanks and heavily armed soldiers, and even among decomposing corpses!
Finally, we reached the UNRWA school at Khan Yunis. He started working in Nasser Hospital, which the occupation also stormed and destroyed! Even when we were displaced, he was working.
All that happened did not stop him from performing his lofty job as a doctor. He has now returned to work in MOH hospitals to carry out operations of debridement and grafting of needy injured people, but he is alone, we are far from him.
He decided to protect us and made a decision to refuge in Egypt to be survived. While he stayed in Rafah before the beginning of the military operation there. Then he was forced to be displaced to Deir Al-Balah.
Every morning he goes to work at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and returns to his tent in Deir Al- Balah in the evening all week.
Is this what we and he deserve?
We stay away from our hero and torn our family. While at the same time, he is putting himself in danger while saving innocent lives!
For your information, his profession is considered more dangerous than ever before, due to the occupation’s systematic policy of targeting hospitals and medical staff!
All the day, we are worried about him. May Allah save him. Moreover, there is no safe place.
We hope to reunite again, we want each other, we want our home and our dreams!
We need your help and support to meet our father again, reunite our family and rebuild our lives. Little matters! Your little means a lot to us.

To avoid fraud, I am talking about people I have actually met and dealt with for years.
Let me introduce to you our great doctor Islam. I know him personally and his wonderful family. We have been neighbors all my life, and he was my family doctor. We also met again in one of the UNRWA schools in Khan Yunis and in Rafah. The doctor is one of the greatest people I have ever seen in my life! How he cares about his family, and committed to his work, and gives everything he can for the sake of both! Above, you will find a very short summary of what Dr. Islam suffered with His family during this genocide, but the greatest pain now is that he is here in Gaza, living in a tent and facing death every day to reach Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis to carry out his noble and humanitarian work, and save many wounded and sick, all of this while he is alone, his family and children are far from him, I know him. I know how much he loves his children, and how much he suffers from their separation now. Help them to reunite the family again! Isn't this worth it after all the sacrifices and pain?
He has relieved everyone's pain since the beginning of the war. Is there anyone who relieves his pain now?
He worked in 3 hospitals throughout the war and was forced to leave them at critical times because the occupation stormed them, burned them, and executed their medical staff. He escaped death many times, and despite that, he returns to his work as a doctor so as not to abandon his people at this time. Can we all? Should we not give up on him now?

Hello there,
Here is a new update about myself:
I am Hind,31 years old, and a physiotherapist—a mother of two kids, Zeina and Ahmed.
Someone asked me: you are a physiotherapist. How much do you make?
I replied: how much do I make?
I can make you walk when you can’t.
I can help you to retain your strength after an accident.
I can relieve your pain when your pills can’t.
I can give you hope when you have lost one.
I can make you get up from a wheelchair if I can.
I can keep you fit, healthy, and strong.
I will drop everything and run to make sure you never fall.
How much do I make? All I know is I make a difference.
World Physiotherapy Day, celebrated annually on September 8th, highlights the vital role physiotherapists play in improving health and well-being worldwide.
I am proud to be a physiotherapist.
I have 8 years of experience in physical therapy. I was dreaming of becoming a specialist in ICU physiotherapy. The first dream steps began to come true in the last September. I obtained the first position in the field of scientific research in physical therapy which was supported by MAP UK.
Unfortunately, the dream faded and became nothing because of the ongoing genocide and destruction of Al Shifa Hospital.
Yes, I indeed lost my job as a physiotherapist and my dream as a specialist, but I kept my children alive and survived far from. I sacrificed for my children, and the feeling of motherhood overwhelms everything, even dreams.
“ two photos of Al Shifa hospital after the destruction completely”
But we remained alone as refugees in Egypt after we separated from my husband, who remained committed to his work as a doctor in Deir al-Balah.
I need to be strong enough to handle all the responsibilities and duties placed on me. I listen to my kid's worries, and their fears while keeping mine locked away. Even the strongest hearts can break under the weight of the unspoken burden and the feeling of constant pain.
I am reaching out to you today with the heartbreaking, support of our campaign to restore our lives and dreams, reunite our family again, and heal our wounds.

maths enjoyers and bug enjoyers and horror movie enjoyers and so forth all need to come together and unite against the common enemy of people telling you how much they hate something as soon as you mention you like it
literally can't believe i have to say this but i actually don't? want to hear about how much you hate maths in the tags? people are missing the point of the post it isn't about which of these things you like and don't like and which should be added or removed it's about having the basic decency to not constantly tell people you hate their interests when nobody asked. which you're failing to do right now.
EVERY FUCKING TIME.
I’m not suuuper into math (I don’t hate it, just not my thing) but man math references keep popping up in my life. A few days ago I was playing WoW and wanted an addon that would plot the most efficient route for gathering and I was like. Wait. Fuck. EULER CIRCUIT AND POSTMAN PROBLEM REFERENCE. and I realized an addon like that could not happen because the only things that can plot out something like that so efficiently are slime molds and pigeons. i remember learning about the paths. I remember how much longer it would take to calculate efficiency for each node. I remember that when you reach a certain number of nodes it gets ridiculous.
So I go like ‘darn. Euler circuit reference’ and go about my day

I am Nevin Al-Sir, I live in Gaza, I am 27 years old, I used to work as an accountant in an accounting firm, I am married and have a child, I was also pregnant during the war, the war on Gaza, and when the evacuation order came from our area in Gaza, we fled through the corridor that the occupation lied to us about and the safe corridor was a disaster. We walked on foot, the longest distance I have ever walked in my life. I was displaced to a tent with the rest of my family, and it was very difficult, tiring and exhausting. Every time there was an evacuation in the southern areas, I was forced to evacuate again to a worse tent. Then I gave birth to my child in a field hospital because the hospitals were out of service. I gave birth to my son in the winter, the cold and the war together, which did not destroy my house and my tent. Now we live in a tent, me, my mother, my father, my husband, my brothers, my sisters and their children, and I need your support to try to survive.
