There are a lot of things I want to do for myself, creatively speaking, and I'll give an explanation down below, but since this is a pinned post I'm going to go ahead and make a list of all the things I plan on posting from here on out, and I'll pin this post:
Art - Literally anything I draw, from the roughest of sketches to (hopefully one day) real pieces that I can be proud of.
Text Posts - There's a lot of stories in my head that have been living there rent free for years. It's time they start putting in the effort.
Sewing & Crochet - Two skills I really enjoy and hope to develop further! Both will be personal projects, but maybe one day I'll get back into cosplay 🤔
I imagine I'll get around to posting more than that, pretty much whatever project or skill based thing I'm really proud of. I'm not really restricting this blog to just art anymore, but rather a place that I can compile all of my accomplishments, however, I do mostly plan on this blog centering around my stories!
More of my story down below. It's not long though.
It's been several years since I've posted anything of my own on this blog. Last time I posted something was when I was in high school and I was trying to make this an actual social media account. Needless to say, that resulted in me getting serious burnout, to the point that I haven't created a serious piece of artwork (outside of one semester of college) for nearly 3 years now.
That's not to say I haven't done anything creative. I recently got married and I made my wedding dress! (That was a serious ordeal that maybe one day I'll post about.) And there have been many other ways I got my creativity out, however, not a lot of them have been nearly as satisfying as being able to draw my characters, whether it be a face or a pose or a situation, and be satisfied or even happy with the results. I really hope to work my way back up to where I felt I was in high school, but I can't get there if I don't celebrate all of the little victories along the way. That's, in the long run, what I hope this blog will turn into. All the little victories that I can look back on, and be happy with, and give me the momentum to keep going.
If any of you reading this are from when I used to post regularly and you forgot to unfollow, or if you're new and are interested in seeing what I post - Hi ✨ I'm not usually this sappy.
Happy November, everyone! I took a break from furniture mods this month and focused on making some practical attire for our farmers. I kept the design as gender neutral as possible (except for the denim skirt ߹𖥦߹) so male and female farmers alike can enjoy their stylish yet comfy farmers shirts, overalls, and trusty straw hats!
This mod is in early access.

I would have loved to draw some matching pants too, but I realized there are so many farmer body mods out there that whatever I draw will most likely be visually incompatible with those mods. :']

Heya, long time no see! Or maps! I'm back with a simpler mod release today, which is...
Sleepy Glade Farm 🎇🌲
Sleepy Glade is a small and, well, sleepy farm tucked into a deep forest glade. Limited crop space is makes for a challenge or a more relaxed gameplay... your pick!
More info and download under the cut:
This map has plenty of berry bushes, Forest forage and fish, and special effects thanks to once again the wonderful chu (mushymato)’s Misc Map Action Properties, without which the atmospheric visual effects of this map won't be possible! Please leave MMAP an endorse and chu themself a Kudos for being awesome and adding features that make maps everywhere prettier.
Other neat features include:
Starter gift variety: Has the Farmer, Florist, Arborist, and Fisher gift packs available in my previous maps.
Grass growth: While the grass terrain in the map isn't diggable, grass starters can still spread, so you can do some ranching still!
Toggleable Secret Woods-like debris effect: You can configure this effect through the config menu, in case you find the constant falling leaves effect overstimulating.
It's a pretty simple map, so I have no further notes on this one other than enjoy and have fun!
Hot take: I don’t think confidence comes purely from having skills. I also think it has a lot to do with your mindset.
A lot of artists struggle with feeling confident in their art, so I put together 5 exercises that will help you grow your artistic confidence! They are designed to improve your skills, but also to cultivate a healthy and constructive mindset that will further boost your growth. Watch it here!
In my last farm I went a little crazy with adding tons and tons of animals to my farm, so I thought I'd share some more of my finds with you all! If you want to see the first part, you can check it out here, I have some top tier mods on that list. All mods are 1.6 compatible, and found on Nexusmods.
Em's Animal Reskins
You know I'm a sucker for mods that reskin the animals, and this mod author has been doing an amazing job with that! There's a whole series of "Em's XYZ" that retextures everything from the chickens to the sheep to even the cats! This collection even includes reskins for Stardew Expanded animals, which I thought was really cool. The mods come in CP and AT, and each animal is an individual download, so you can pick and choose what to include. Every design is just soooo cute, I absolutely adore their style.
"Facelift" Farm Animals + Pets
Another great reskin series, the "Facelift" series changes the pixel art while still keeping the same vibes of the vanilla animals! I love the variety of different colors/breeds they have available, and the inclusion of the "void" versions. They also have a mod that does the same thing for the pets, so your whole farm can match! It's available for CP and AT, and the mod pages have helpful lists of all the animal names for easy config.
Donkeys
These little guys were such a fun and simple addition to my game! Donkeys are kind of like "goats+" in my mind, as they only give milk every 4 days, and you need 3 milk to make one single cheese. Once you do make that cheese though...WOW the profits! The spritework is super cute, and I love that they make little hee-haw noises when you pet them. They have extra skins available from a few other mods listed on the main page.
If you like mods that just add one animal at a time and have really cute art, check out the rest of this author's mods! She has several other animals that are really fun too.
Kinder Chicken and Gacha Eggs
This is just a fun mod from the very start with the concept of a "Kinder Egg" chicken! These chickens lay eggs that are actually geodes, and you can crack them open at Clint's to get your prize. Each different type of chicken gives out different categories of prizes, so you can focus on collecting different stuff. One thing I'll say is that this does have the possibility of giving you some pretty powerful loot in the early game, as the list of items just pulls from ALL mods you have installed. But if you don't mind that, then they're a really fun addition to the coop!
Resource Chickens
I feel like this mod gets used a lot in the playthroughs I watch, but I think it's still worth mentioning! This mod adds in a whopping 29 new chickens, each producing its own resource. You can either process the eggs they lay to receive the resources, or you can use them for regular mayo/cooking, which is a really useful quality! The chickens are obtained through all sorts of different methods, which adds a sort of "scavenger hunt" aspect to the game which I enjoyed. It also adds a fourth coop upgrade to help house the massive amount of birds lol.
I'm sure you guys know about the existence of MO2, but I still want to talk about my favorite features from it and the extra plugins for it that I love. It's not the most exciting mod topic, but the QoL improvements make up for that, imo.
If you're interested in trying it out, gamerpoets has a great setup tutorial, and even more tutorials on how to set up SKSE, CK, SSE Edit and more with it.
So, MO2 has a really nifty feature of showing you when loose files have a conflict (or are completely overwritten) with a little lightning bolt symbol next to the mod name.
Symbols left to right: Winning Conflict; Losing Conflict; Completely Overwritten
If you click the lightning bolt, a window showing two list ('Winning file conflicts' and 'Losing file conflicts') will pop up, showing the name of the mod it's conflicting with, and the conflicting file names.
From this list, you can right-click a file to go back to its source mod, or you can also choose to 'hide' the file from the mod you clicked on. This function adds a '.mohidden' after the file type, basically making the file invisible without deleting it, in case you change your mind later.
If the file is a texture, you can click on the file name and view the textures that are conflicting.
The other files you can't natively view, so this is where some plugins come in:
Mod Organizer plugin to support previewing NIF files (3D models).
Plugin for MO2 to play fuz, xwm and wav files
MO2 also has a nifty Profile system that lets you have multiple separate mod lists you can swap between (which is insanely helpful for figuring out mod issues, btw.)
To use these next two mods, you need to click the puzzle piece icon and click their names to run them.
Personally, I like keeping my orders synced for the most part and just activating what mods I need, so I recommend this plugin:
Profile Sync is a plugin for Mod Organizer 2, it allows you to maintain the same mod order (while keeping the enabled/disabled state) across
(Kezyma has made even more MO2 plugins you might find helpful)
So, MO2 two mod orders: the left side which is the mod files themselves and the right side, your plugins. It is pretty easy for the mod files and plugins to get out of order (which usually isn't a big deal, but it annoys me), so I suggest using this one:
A simple plugin for Mod Organizer 2 to sync the order of the Plugins in the right pane to the order of Mods in the left pane. Useful if you
For those who want even more organization, you can create separators, which you can expand and collapse and drag mods in and out of, to make scrolling your LO easier.
There are several mods for pre-made separators, I based my own separators loosely on this one:
Designed for easier asset management and plugin syncing, especially when using a large number of mods.
If you have the Anniversary Edition, your CC plugins will not be automatically manageable with MO2. This plugin will help you with that, so if you want you can deactivate unused creations:
This Mod Organizer 2 plugin uses a user-configured JSON to move selected Creation Club files to managed MO2 mods. At the same time, it can e

Another thing you may not know about the UI is that you can change the theme to something kinder on the eyes. You can find the options under:
Tools [wrench and screwdriver icon, next to puzzle pieces] -> Themes
There are already quite a few to pick from (ranging from simple colors, to paper, to a Skyrim themed UI, with even more choices on the Nexus.
I've personally found that, with large amounts of mods, Profile Sync causes a LOT of lag when you switch profiles. I no longer use it. Sync Plugins, however, is still excellent.
Sadly, Highly Detailed MO2 Separators was removed by staff (BOO! HISS!) Here are some others: Airo's, COSMOS, Morbid's.
NIF Preview no longer works with the latest version of MO2, but there is an updated version here.
A few new plugins I've found handy:
