Danny is tired
I'm not a writer, but i had this idea for a little story, and have never seen anyone do something close to it. similar ideas, but not this. what if danny just leaves earth?

It's been a long few years for Danny. As the prince-ling of the infinite realms, he has proven his worth time and time again and build up a kind of tense friendship with his rogues. sadly, his parents do not count to that. he hoped that as time went on that they would lessen their hate for ghosts, but that did not happen. more like the opposite and now they got a lucky shot in. as he now lays on the surgeon table, listening to his excited parents an excited Jack and Maddie he thought to himself "i just wanted to see the stars. but clockwork, and even frostbite, said that as a true halfa, i need the mortal realm as much as the infinite realms... what i wouldn't give to see some other planets" as he thought that, it occurred to him, that they did not specify earth, just the mortal realm. luckily, before Maddie and Jack could do anything, they were distracted by another ping on their ghost radar and went away in a hurry. after a bit jazz came down and rolled Danny into the portal, to hopefully rest a bit. Danny now made a plan, he needs to go to each of his rogues gallery and asks them to please not go to earth anymore, as he will no longer be there to rescue them from the hunters, but the rest of the mortal realm is fair game. they are, of course shocked, because a young ghost-ling like Danny just being forced to abandon his haunt, and even then protecting the others is unheard of. so they listen to his request. not just them, but even the realms itself do. because it was the first thing Danny did as a king, looking out for his subjects. after Danny went back to earth, he took the portal with him. he needs a way to the realms and it was his sacrifice that opened the portal. he destroys the lab goes to each of his friends telling them that he will leave, satiate his space obsession and to explore other planets. he has a few picked out, tamaran, odym, nok, maybe even oa. he'll see where his core leads him. his friends and his sister give him a tearful goodbye and when he turns to leave, Maddie and Jack are there, to shout obscenities at him. and Danny leaves, he has better things to do, and that is exploring in space. maybe cujo can join him every once in a while and bring Ellie with? but that is something for the future.
After Danny leaves, the magical community of earth starts to panic. because slowly, the infinite realms start to recede. the lazarus pits turn into just a green lake, contacts from hell stop working and the dead start to disappear into the realms. even people like Jason Todd disappear. when its deadmans turn, he bids farewell to zatana. he tells her "well legs, your people have done it. for the first time in millennia the realms had a good leader and you manage to run him off. lucky for you, he is a real sweet kid and decided to leave, instead of destroying you. the realms blacklisted our earth. I'm not supposed to tell you this, but if you want any chance of repairing this, the old kings summoning can summon the prince-lings guardians. i had fun with you all, but i need to leave. we can survive without you, but you not without us"
zatana calls a emergency meeting, with every JLD member and the normal JL. when she arrives at the watchtower, its in complete disarray. even batman and his brood looks completely devastated, at least those that weren't in the realms.

or, danny is tired, tells his rogues gallery to stay either in the realms or anywhere except earth, sentient infinite realms recall everything ectoplasm including certain liminal people depending on their liminality and danny wanting to travel through space
