Bionicle Gate 3 (Baldur's Gate 3 AU)

Gathered friends... listen again to our legend of the Bionicle.

So, this is a thing I've been working on and off on for a little while. I thought to myself, "What if Baldur's Gate 3 but Bionicle?" and then couldn't stop thinking about it. I started by just making Bionicle mocs of the main companions, but over time I've also started thinking about how other characters, and most importantly, the plot might look if it were shifted from the Forgotten Realms to the Matoran Universe. I'll be posting more about this over time, so stay tuned!

The basic premise is this: A cult has risen in the Matoran Universe, one that has spurned the Great Spirit in favor of worshipping a new deity called Tren Krom. This cult has been abducting Oropi and fitting them with strange bioengineered Krana to control them. The only thing standing between the Cult of Tren Krom and total domination is a mysterious mask, a mask they say everyone is willing to fight for and risk their lives to possess.

i don't think artists/authors should run their own fanservers. you cannot trust a room full of people who all love you to be normal when you are there. you cannot trust yourself to be normal in a room of people who love you and want your attention and approval. you will make yourself, and them, insane. i'm sure there are artist discords out there that run perfectly fine, but it's a parasocial nightmare to me.

that all said, if fans wanted to make their own discord for hunger's bite or my work, i'd be happy to point people toward it, but it would be hugely irresponsible to join or run it myself. fans need a space to discuss a creator's work without the creator's involvement. that's why i was telling people yesterday to post in the tag instead of sending everything through me.

The new Tomodachi Life is the best thing to ever happen to me because Arawyll are absolutely perfect. They got on extremely well from the start, always hung out, always talked about how much fun the had with eachother, became best friends, moved in together, GAVE EACHOTHER FLOWERS 3 TIMES IN ONE DAY, WYLL FELL COMPLETELY HEAD OVER HEELS FOR ARI AND KEEPT THINKING ABOUT HIM NONSTOP. THEN SUDDENLY ONE DAY ARI FELL IN LOVE AS WELL AND EVEN HARDER, BECAUSE HE APPROACHED WYLL ABOUT DATING AND NOW WYLL PROPOSED AND THEY'RE MARRIED AND LOVE EACHOTHER VERY MUCH.

AND THEN MY FRIEND PUT THEM IN HER GAME AND THEY FELL IN LOVE THERE TOO. THEY LOVE EACHOTHER IN EVERY UNIVERSE I'M ILL.
