semi-hiatus

i just want to say thank you to all those followers — mutuals, nonmutuals, senpais — who’ve stayed with me during my absence. i am gravely sorry for being inactive. life has been too crazy since i’ve started school again & i’m not sure when i’ll come back. i shall try my utmost to produce some form of writing during the breaks from school, however, i can’t promise anything. i love you all so much && even though i’ve only been in the rp business not too long ( and tbh i’m not too good at it either ), you all mean so much to me!!!

p.s. i’ll be lurking… anywho back to life ;-;

mini hiatus.

i'm so sorry to do this, but school has forced me to go on a mini-hiatus until the weekend of october 9th. i'll still probably be lurking around, liking posts and what not — so maybe just a semi-hiatus??? anyway, i will not be able to respond to any threads or asks. i hope you all understand, & i promise to come back to you!!! as for those that i owe replies to: afaustiancontract vphantomhive cutthroat-queen michaeliiis lune-fracture ??? @. the random anon your replies might be posted before the 9th or during that weekend. forgive me, senpais… ik i'm a trashy potato ._.

He wasn’t one to actually approach other people without a good reason; if he put some thought into it, it was always other people who came to him in these sort of situations. Balls were meant to bring people together (whether to show one’s daughter or one’s opulence), so he might as well take advantage of his wife’s absence and his ennui threatening with cutting all boring ties with everyone he already knew and was escaping from. Glass in hand, he tried to look as uninterested as possible as he stopped walking right besides the other person, who was already in the balcony before him.

He stood in the midst of festive gowns and well-tailored suits, all twirling gaily to the light melody floating from the instruments of the orchestra. Though, he differed from the masses. A figure, cloaked in black, topped with ebony hair embodying the darkness, and radiant irises ablaze with carmine. An ambience of obscurity emanated from his person. And yet, his presence went unnoticed by the ecstatic ones surrounding him. Quiet and foreign to the crowd around him, it’s as if he was hidden within the shadows.

For the time being, he remained stationary, silently observing the various dancing couples and merry partygoers. In truth, he was rather intrigued, being at the center of such an exuberant atmosphere. Closing his eyes, he took a moment to revel in its general splendor. The sensation of breathing in the individual redolences of each unconsumed soul aroused his senses.

That was when a certain savor caught his attention…

It was quite subtle, and still poignant. The mere fragrance of it was mouthwatering.

Gradually, he opened his eyes, his line of sight immediately falling upon the one who radiated such an essence.

The demon’s insatiable appetite had resurfaced.

Trivial words flowed from their mouth, attempting to address him. A salacious grin creeped across his pale lips as he perceived the one who had spoken.
