Ever since his distant youth, Walter only ever wanted one thing: to become one of those eccentric older gentlemen with a garden filled with gnomes, and being a man to never give up on his dreams, that is exactly what he did. The eccentricity came easily to him, the multiple shipments of the finest tacky outdoor ornaments known to simkind and a nice stretch of grass to call his own took a bit of saving up for, but the waiting to get old did get a little tiresome (time, as it would have it, took it's damn sweet time to pass).
It was absolutely worth it though. Flash forwards to the present day and he and his approximately 7000 unique garden gnomes (and gnome-adjacent creatures) have never been happier, his only regret being that he doesn't (currently) have room for 7000 gnomes more.
