Effame fumed. Her face turned as red as her hair, and she stomped over to her catch, strapping cuffs on wrists and ankles of the unconscious person. Under her breath the hole way back she was muttering threats, just softly so only Effame could hear.
“I did have a good handle on things, but you, you charge in here like a bull in a fucking china shop! I have never, never had a job ruined. Many have tried, and all have failed. You must work for another bounty hunter, I know it! Only another hunter would sabotage a hunter’s job!” That however, was nearly screamed at the other young woman.
Chiara felt nothing but hurt as the other woman yelled at her. “This was clearly all an accident, I work for no one but myself...” She didn’t know what else to stay, though she should try to offer the other some type of help though she knows it probably wouldn’t help what just happened.
