Cosplay has literally changed my life. I started cosplaying Raven a year or so back and I was terrified at the time. I’m 6 feet tall and weight 250 pounds and when I first started cosplaying. I was nervous of what people would think of me because of my height, skin tone, weight and everything. Because of cosplay I’ve literally learned to accept my body more. When I first cosplayer Stevonnie I was TERRIFIED to walk around with my stomach out and now I can careless. I love cosplaying! From making them to wearing them to taking pictures. What are you all’s cosplay story? How has cosplay changed your life?

Hi! I'm not exactly a "plus-size" cosplayer, but I do have quite a bit chub in my stomach area. I wanted to do a sailor scout cosplay, but I'm worried about my fat rolls being really close with that tight fabric. Should I buy the costume a bit bigger so that doesn't happen?

You shouldn't be worried at all, Iv went out in skin tight Lycra with all my fluff showin, you can slay it either way! But if you do prefer it to not cling to certain areas, i would suggest using a pair of pull in pants that go up to just below the bust, Iv worn them SO many times, and they are so comfy, they "smooth" everything out without taking your figure away, and they're cheap too, you can pick a pair up for less than £20, I think the cheapest Iv seen (if your UK based) is in primark, I think they're no more than £10, mine was when I got it, thought that was a while ago! With a Cosplay like sailor moon, I would say that it's best to have it figure fitting (I'm not a huge SM fan, I watched the anime when I was younger!) . I hope this helps, I hope Iv said everything right (I have a terrible habit of using the wrong words and mixing up what I'm ment to say, Sophie's had this problem with me a lot!) and I would love to see the Cosplay when you debut it! ~Karli
