thinking about how well matt and jay (the real people) communicate sublimated frustration and hurt feelings felt by their characters in ntbts. matt's dismissive response of "haha what no why would i care that you dated my sister?" only to absolutely explode over jay cursing the hole when they play wii sports later. jay's paradoxical delight at being tricked into thinking matt was killing himself. matt seething at jay that he hates his guts and wants him dead only for them to also laugh it off and go home right after. the most prominent example being how season 2 of viceland is in many ways About matt drugging jay and jay being angry about that despite the episode itself being treated like a self contained sitcom premise that resolves neatly at the end. like for the rest of the season jay is moving away from matt and you can see matt getting more and more anxious/guilt-ridden about this as jay is getting more and more conflicted and aloof, but they never ever actually have a conversation about the reason this is happening and they don't make it glaringly obvious to a casual viewer either. the show's drama hinges on these subconscious drives playing out through two characters that are profoundly emotionally repressed, it's so well constructed and it's all because matt johnson is a psychoanalysts' field day and he knows it

This is an AZA accredited zoo which is home to several species of critically endangered animals, we NEED to protect it. Make your voice heard!

The Amur Leopard and Clouded Leopard (which recently celebrated its 50th cub born at the zoo!)

Data centers have been recorded creating constant noise at a frequency outside the human range of hearing but which still causes severe issues. This could be even worse with animals that have more sensitive hearing than humans do.

We don't need to wait years to find out these things cause real harm to the communities near them, we have proof already.
