This is my seventh full length album as Disparition. Get it here:Ā https://disparition.bandcamp.com/album/faite
I started this project in January, and in between tours this work has been the focus of my life. I began with concentration on form, concision, rawness, directness - the work took me in a different direction, more removed from the ambient and electronic music Iāve made in the past but still, I think, retaining the same spirit or core idea.Ā
This album is called FAITE. The name and original concept were inspired by a piece from the āSigns of Lifeā mosaic series by Brooklyn artist Jackie Chang.
This music is meant to be played loudly, in darkness. I hope that these songs can become good companions for you through the Fall and Winter.

reblogging for night crew
This album is really good, Iām going to buy it as soon as I have money to spare (tomorrow), and you should get it too. Not sure if I like it as much as Granicha (which was one of my favourite albums of last year), but Iām going to keep listening to it before I make up my mind.
Given how different it is, I donāt know if thereās much point making a comparison, so obviously Iāll judge it on its own merits.Ā
Itās completely the wrong time of year to be listening to it (being Spring), but I donāt think thatāll impact my enjoyment too much.
