Stop watching people live your dream life, go create it. Those people arenât special, they were once YOU. They just believed in themselves enough to go after what they wanted and you can too

From the river to the sea.
Letâs be honest, showing up for yourself doesnât come naturally. It requires a high level of self love and discipline that is incredibly challenging. If you canât root for yourself to that extent, how can you expect others to do so?
Discipline is absolutelyyyy everything
Itâs pathological that people who create endless moodboards and spend hours upon hours searching for visual âinspoâ on Pinterest are seen as somehow motivated or accomplished. How the hell does wasting time looking for niche motivating âaestheticâ pictures of a lifestyle make you more motivated or mean that youâre âmanifestingâ anything. This collective presumption thatâs seemed to fester on social media needs to be done with. Itâs so asinine I can scarcely even believe it. Actually DOING things is what counts.
I agree and thatâs one perspective. The other is how mood-boards inspire people to see themselves in places they never thought theyâd ever experience. It is not just for âaestheticsâ itâs also for representation.
