I wonder in the scene where Freddie lounds broke into Will's freezer and then ran to her car when he chased her, if he actually planned on leaving her alive.

He had killed already by that time, Freddie dialed jack crawford when Will broke her window and she screamed. I wonder if that was his way of letting the coin flip.

I can't say I remember correctly if the call was already picked up by Jack or not but it would be interesting if had she not managed to get to her car and dial Jack then he very well might've actually killed her, disposed off her and her car and then taken it as a sign of choosing Hannibal.

But since a call trace would be difficult to explain, he accepted the outcome and decided to let fate play just like Hannibal does, one event at a time.
