Honestly I think its brilliant. Like why would you ever advertise what your super power is with your costume and name? Keeps them on their toes.
Also I mean Creel and Titana have very specific power sets, so drawing attention to that would give the game away.
Norman: "Behold, our new heroes: Muscle Maiden and Absorbing.... guy. *Whispers* Seriously Creel?
Creel: what? It works.
Titana: I thought we agreed my name would be Muscle Mommy.
Norman: for the last time no.
Creel: Coward.
Also, This would not be the last time Norman would dress up super villains as Super heroes (Also was this before or after the Thunderbolts were a thing?)
This would certainly be before Osborne ran the Thunderbolts, though I don't know if this is before the team existed (which technically started during Heroes Reborn).
Oh I know this was before Osborne was involved with the Thunderbolts. I meant Zemo's Thunderbolts, since that was probably about this time? Not sure the exact timeline.
Like Thunderbolts was probably not the first time that supervillains pretended to be super heroes (I mean come on, Darkseid was pulling that trick in the Bronze age), but it was the most famous, or at least the one with the most public resonance.
So, it might have been Zemo's Thunderbolts, or it could be Hawkeye's Thunderbolts.

Washington Post is paywalling the article but it looks like Taylor Farms — a consumer bagged salad brand that also supplies produce to grocers and fast food chains like Taco Bell, Walmart, McDonald's, Chipotle, Burger King, KFC, and Meijer —may be at least one of the sources of the current cyclosporiasis outbreak.
Taylor makes bagged greens, salad kits, chopped salads, the works. Keep avoiding supermarket greens, but keep an especially close eye out for this brand/supplier. The above list of grocers and fast food chains is NOT exhaustive, so please continue getting lettuce and other raw produce taken off your burgers, sandwiches, etc.

they animated this thing exactly as i used to dream they would back when i first read the og manga
so the thing that super bummed me out when I finished reading the manga and then started on the future volumes, was seeing that Masamune Shirow (not their real name lol) had moved away from the fun expressive human designs of the original and began drawing more and more like the movie’s more “realistic” style
I understand why he would do so considering how HUGE the first movie was and how people probably couldn’t even recognize his original characters as the same ones from the films, but still :(
In a world where almost all manga's art styles have started looking indistinguishable from each other, and animes seem to blur together with triangle mouths and extreme close ups on giant shimmering eyes in order to convey emotions (cheap to animate yay!), anything that goes the extra mile is to be treasured. So bless Science Saru for not just bringing Masamune Shirow's og style to life but also fucking going the extra mile and exaggerating it even more!
