It's "ice queen" until they're waiting in front of Skinner's office and Mulder makes her laugh so hard she has to half-bury her face in his shoulder to keep it contained. Until she is breathlessly blushing and whispering something that makes him bend over in return. It's the first time any of the agents passing by have heard her laugh.

It's "ice queen" until Mulder brings her a hot coffee and her favourite kind of muffin for an early meeting, and her smile could melt glass. Until a room full of accountants watches them pass the paper cup back and forth without even looking, spilling not a single drop. Until she gives him an undecipherable look and Mulder comes back after their ten-minute break with yet another one to share. Until she leans in like she is going to kiss him before simply bumping her shoulder against his, her lips parted and her cheeks flushed.

It's "annoying" and "insufferable" until Mulder almost trips over his own feet while clinging to every single word spilling from her lips. Until he walks straight into Skinner because he was looking at her and only her. Until he listens to Scully and Scully only, until he silences people with a glare when they interrupt her during meetings, until he starts introducing her as Dr. Special Agent Scully, daring anyone to contradict him or drop an honorific.

It's "ice queen" until Mulder gets injured, and she refuses to leave his side even as they make their way through the crowded building. It's just a hair fracture, Scully, and she almost shoves someone into a doorway to make space for him. Your ankle is broken. Hair fracture. Broken.

It's "prudish" and "prissy" until people occasionally catch them in an empty corridor, watching as Mulder wipes away dark red smudges from the corners of her mouth while the same colour is smeared across his lips. Until there is enough visible adoration in the way their hands brush together that it makes any bystander blush.

It's "standoffish," "uptight," and "unapproachable" until they are no longer in the basement, and no matter how hard she might try, she cannot hide the person she is around Mulder. Until she drags her chair towards his desk more days than not, until they move in sync, sit down in sync, breathe in sync, and they both don't seem to be what everyone else always imagined.

Soft. Warm. Loving. In love.

Scully smiles at Mulder like he's her whole world, and he smiles back like she hung every single moon and star into the sky.

It's "Mr. and Mrs. Spooky" from their very first case right up until the day a ring is glinting on Mulder's finger and another one on a thin gold band around Scully's neck, resting above her heart.

I watched this DUMB video because of the recent polemic

Just to see why people were making so much noise about it and this channel… I’M SO GLAD I DID  ! I laughed and laughed and laughed out loud watching it (I have to be honest I stopped after something like 6 minutes or something, it was too dumb ! And that little piano cover of BTS’ songs she puts as BGM… was making me crazy. Anyway. This is so ridiculous and she is REACHING so much ! I can’t understand how people are blindly believing what she’s saying in her analysis ! I’m glad she’s not THAT intelligent in her manipulation… I’d have been bothered if whe were.

But now that I have watched this masterpiece ? I’m confident her followers (like.. in a cult you know ?) will open their eyes because she’s overdoing it. It’s hilarious. (my personal favorite of what I watched ? The Ellen show, where she pretends to KNOW exactly what was going on in Namjoon’s head, taht he mistakenly thought Ellen was asking if some members were dating eachother, and then his body unconsciously turned toward Taehyung like OOpS ! I’ve outed my friends ! Like Namjoon; KING of control Namjoon would be THAT STUPID.)

This girl is crazy. Probably just hit legal age, I’m guessing she’s heavily drinking before manufacturing her “theories”, that’s the only explanation. OR she’s litteraly pulling them out of her a** because they smell like sh*it.

You read right. (and yes I made the title “offensive” for a reason)

Not because I'm homophobic. I'm not stating I hate non-heterosexual people here, do I ? Not because my perspective on the world is heteronormative. I'm not talking about random people, nor am I making generalizations of any kind, and I’m certainly NOT imposing a sexuality on BTS or speculating about it. (I don’t know what sexual orientation they are. Nothing changes here. Nobody knows until they say it themselves. That’s what respectful fans do anyway). What I AM doing though, is talking about a group of men I find attractive (of course), but not only. This is not just physical and that’s the crutial part here. I also think they are kind, and funny, and interesting, and talented, and inspiring... I admire them.

And. I'm a Woman who likes men. It is natural to FANTASIZE about male stars. Everybody fantasizes about someone or something they are attracted to. It is human biology. I really do believe BTS members would make great boyfriends, great husbands even ! Do you know how hard it is to find GOOD MEN nowadays ? It's really.fucking.hard. So if I learn they are gay, or the one I'm the most attracted to is gay, not available for my gender, not interested in women (because I AM a woman), I'll be pretty sad to hear it. I - OF COURSE - won't be mad at HIM or the gay community or anyone and I won't stop loving him for who he is.

But.

And this is totally natural. I won’t fantasize about him anymore either.

And I’m not saying that I’m imagining myself with him right now. I know I will never meet him, or be his girlfriend. I don’t even think about it because I’m pretty down to earth. I’m not even imagining sexual scenarios with me in it. I just like to fantasize about him being A MAN THAT LOVES WOMEN. Physically. Or not. A GREAT boyfriend.

And I - personally, once again - can’t do that if he is dating a man. Whatever some people are saying, for ME at least it is not the same at all, because it is not just physical, or visual or whatever.

Yes, there is only Love with a big L, regarding of who loves whom. For some people that is maybe true. I know it is for them. For me too from an outsider’s perspective. Just not when “me fantasizing about a man” is in question.

I don’t think two men do the same things together as a man and a women. I can’t put myself in the place of a man dating another man. This is not my thing, this is not possible for me. Even if it is to talk about feelings only. It’s not doing the trick for me. Maybe I lack imagination ? Maybe I’m experienced as well.

So somewhere in the recesses of my simple heterosexual woman mind, I ADMIT that I like it when I notice some BTS members looking at women. I even LOVE it, when at award shows they obviously drool watching beautiful Normani like any heterosexual man would do. And I don’t have to feel shameful about that. Nothing to do with heteronormalization. Nothing to do with homophobia. Just a woman loving it when men are being men. It is not anti-feminist either, because they are in no way disrespectful. They just have eyes. And I love it, can’t really explain.

I don’t understand either why people brandish the HOMOPHOBIA card everytime a girl is shipping a male and a female idol ?

(BTW, I don’t think shipping is harmful when it’s not delusional. Not my cup of tea because BTS are real people, but if I’m not forced to read it, then I don’t mind. BUT. I said it before and I’ll say it again for the rest of my life : When you declare yourself a « supporter » or when you actively believe they are in a gay relationship, and try to prove it and make creepy analysis videos of their every move, YOU ARE a problem. You are imposing and assuming and trespassing boundaries. This is simply disrespectful BECAUSE they are not fictional characters.)

They are doing the same thing as other shippers. If it is delulu, it’s WRONG and going too far. If it is innocent or stays hidden from the « protagonists » in real life, it’s ok. It’s normal for women to fantasize about heterosexual couples because this is what they want for their relationship. It’s ok and pretty (let’s say) obvious to choose a couple that looks like your own potential couple rather than two guys, if you are a woman that dates men.

In order to appear « woke », people (especially on social media) tend to unconsciously change or fake what they really like, to not be called narrow-minded. I am a lot of things but I’m NOT narrow-minded. I find it beautiful when two people love eachother, regarding of who they are, their story, anything. But I don’t fantasize about two men together. That’s just a fact. I don’t mind other people liking it either. Just not what I like and notice and TALK ABOUT, but because I like something different than some people or something boring maybe, that doesn’t mean I’m rejecting all the other things that exist !

That doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate BTS friendship, their closeness as men. I just don’t fantasize about it, in any way whatsoever.

Last thing (but certainly not least !) : It is not because I FAIL to mention “or boyfriend” when I’m talking about BTS’ potential love life that I force every other human being on the planet to believe they are heterosexual. I just.... didn’t think about it. Maybe I failed to appear woke on Twitter and Social Media. Imagine everytime you talk about something, you’d have to talk about all the other things on the same subject so as there are nobody left behind. Religion, sexual orientation, origin... So I often choose to talk “only” about the things I want to talk about at that moment. Nothing more to see here. 

 I hope this will help some people express themselves better without being accused of crying « het rights » or being homophobic.
