This past week, I have had many conversations with my friends and family about why I decided to become an Arbonne consultation. Some of these family members and friends have watched me grow from a very reserved obese girl into an athletic woman! They have witnessed the transformation from a girl who was ashamed of being in her skin to someone who is proud of herself! Watching the progression from wearing one piece swimsuits and board shorts (because they’re longer) to wearing cheeky two pieces. Everyone who has known me has known that I began my journey during my senior year of college, but very few select individuals know that “why” I started my journey... •My journey started because I was tired of how the world treated me because of my size. It’s hard work being a 23 year old girl fresh out of that wears a size 24 in women’s. That’s a 43” waist! •My tummy constantly hated me and I was always sick to my stomach. •I wanted to be wear cute fancy jeans like all my girlfriends. You know, the ones with the white stitching and rhinestones on the butt. •I no longer wanted to be known as the “fat best friend.” •I wanted to hear people say “WOW, she got hot!” •Lastly, I needed to know that I could set a goal, and accomplish it. Almost four years later, and I’m over 100lbs down from my heaviest. I’ve gained so much in the past four years. I’m healthier than I’ve ever been, physically and mentally. My tummy no longer hates me. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been because I found a gym with a community that I love. I use food as fuel to help me progress in a sport. I don’t dread going clothes shopping anymore. My goals are forever changing when it comes to my body. I want to increase my bench press, I want to run faster, I want my skin to be clearer, I want to lose fat, etc. If you have goals like I have, let me help you accomplish that! Hello everyone!

I haven’t posted a long time as I was extremely busy (more like emotionally, mentally, and physically drained) from working as a social worker for a post-acute rehabilitation hospital in Northern California. I quit my job about a month ago, and it’s the first time in over a decade that I’ve had more than a week off. I’m working on myself these days. Being a better person, woman, girlfriend, friend, aunt, sister, daughter, athlete, business owner, and dog mama.

I look forward to utilizing this outlet again in more of a constructive manner. Please bear with me as I get into the swing of things again.

I find comfort in knowing that people who I’ve cut out of my life are left with this version of me that simply doesn’t exist anymore. The memory and image of me that they have isnt who I am, and I’m happy that it’s that way. I’ve changed and grown and they wont ever get the chance to know the better version of myself that I’ve become during their absence.
