First thing we foraged on this land were the bricks we turned into the floor of the glass house. I was like, “come on girls! let’s go do an outdoor project!” Haha, singing to them and trying to make brick moving and laying fun or exciting somehow. If I close my eyes hard enough, I can feel how sore I was loading them back to this space, yet so excited to see if we would have enough bricks from the found pile to build the floor. We did end up tearing a couple out from the sidewalk by the house to finish off a corner but it seems totally worth it. If you come over and notice some missing bricks over there, it’s totally fine…. 🙃
