the social construction of gender begins with the society we live in; the toys we are bought, the toys themselves shows us how society sees our gender. no i do not wear makeup and regardless of that i have a boyfriend whom i love and care for and reciprocates it. i love myself and i know there are those who wear makeup but they should also know that society has pushed the idea of makeup on to us, saying girls will not be pretty unless they wear makeup and that you especially wont find love with out it.
