Spring is on my nails! Okay so I haven't been doing much nail art lately because I have gotten way too busy with school and for some months I stopped painting my nails altogether because they were in such bad shape. Now my nails are looking better again and I'm more motivated to do nail art again. I'm so happy with how these turned out. Can't stop staring! Graffiti Accent

For Christmas I got this beautiful OPI purple colour and I was so happy because it looks so good but also it's the perfect colour for the Silver Graffiti nail polish I got for a birthday long time ago.

I haven't been very active lately, but it's only because I also haven't been painting my nails much lately either. But with the New Year I'm going to try and change that. Here are my New Year's Eve nails. Lots and lots of sparkle!!!

CYN turned 1 today!

I got this lovely message from Tumblr today, saying that my blog turned 1 today! I completely forgot that it's been that long. I definitely haven't posted enough for this year but hopefully I can turn it around for my next year of blogging. I have gotten some new nail polishes and things that I want to work with and I have some cool ideas in my head that I will hopefully will make come true soon!

Gradient nails !!! So I finally got my hands on some OPI sheer tints. Since I'm traveling and don't have almost anything with me I decided to do something really simple. I used Mavala - Riga as a base and then did the gradient with the pink OPI sheer tint nail polish. The effect is exactly what you'd expect but the polish itself is very gel like in my opinion which makes it hard to apply nicely. Also it can get quite thick but luckily dries very well. I also noticed tiny little bubbles in the nail polish after it had dried but it's not too noticeable. But this pink is craaaaazy pink, I'm so in love I haven't had nails this pink in a while and I can't stop staring at them!!

I always buy a lot of nail polishes when traveling. The Mavalas and OPIs are tax free finds and Ciate from sephoras sale :D couldn't be happier!!! And I've only been here one day :D

Sparkly eyes

I am so in love with this design.. it's so sparkly and fun. It did end up a bit messy, but I'm a little out of practice and my white and black are a bit old so they don't paint as smooth anymore :(

Long time no see.. 

I have been sooooooo busy, a lot of things happened this summer and then I moved to another country for university. But I'm finally getting settled in and have time to do some nail art. Since I haven't done something in a long time I really wanted to do something completely of my own, so I just did bunch of random patterns on my nails.

Long time no post It's been way too long since my last post, but I've been so busy with work and other stuff. Also my nails while working were completely messed up and now they are finally getting their looks back. I'm so excited to have time again to paint my nails. My Birthday Nails

I celebrated my birthday this weekend and I wanted my nails to really sparkle. I handplaced every single glitter piece, it took FOREVER but it was so worth it. This was my first time ever trying handplacing glitter. Also I made this gif after I had already worn these nails for four days, that's why you can see signs of wear at the tips.

Glam Easter Eggs

Since Easter is in a week, I decided to do the obligatory easter egg nail art but add a little glam to it. I used only Models Own nail polishes for this design, also this is my first time handplacing glitter!! Woo!

So I got little bored and tried my hand at painting some white animals on blue background. My original idea was to leave the background plain blue but I decided to try some glitter on it. I like the glitter in person but it's extremely difficult to get a good picture of. I like how the cat and the rabbit turned out. I like their slightly tortured faces. And I mean that in a funny cartoonish way not a creepy way. :D
