Manhattan born and raised Courtney grew up as an only child to a plastic surgeon father and magazine editor mother. She was brought up around all things beautiful, taking to the world through an aesthetic based lens. Born on August 23rd 1999 she is a virgo cusp leo and that's exactly what you get when you meet her, she's self assured and sharp minded. Maybe a little stand-offish and cold at first but the red head is severely misunderstood. The truth is she's career focused, Courtney just doesn't care to waste her time when she has things to do and goals to achieve. Her stability comes from routine and her routine is what keeps her sane. She's not trying to be a bitch she's just set in her ways, that's how she gets things done.
Since she was a girl this was her mindset in life, she was a straight A honors student, her education always came first. She wouldn’t admit it but there’s an awkwardness to her socially, she never made friends effortlessly. Her natural presence came across detached and snobby. This only became more true for her after her mother passed when she was 16.
Courtney was never a natural at anything, her whole life she has had to try and try and try. And try she did. Succeed she did.
it was about January 2024 she joined the AEW team after a few years of creative director assistant work and building a profile in the industry a good friend of her fathers (Tony Khan) offered her a position on their team. One of the youngest members of the creative team she focuses on the set design, the entrances and the visual aspects of segments and promos to represent each wrestler and the company as a whole entirely by visuals.
Courtney isn't mean-spirited nor does she mean to come across rude, she's just blunt and straight to the point. She won't bullshit you, she won't lie to you and her loyalty runs deep in her veins. She just knows her worth and she knows what she wants, she's not budging or bending to fit someone elses ideas of her. Stubborn, thick-skinned and set in her ways.

As much as he loved spending time in the garden, Stevie was glad to be back on the road again, especially because it meant he could spend more time with Courtney again. And that was making him start to think more about, well, them, and what they meant to each other…what she meant to him. He wanted to try to talk to her about it, so he suggested they grab drinks after Dynamite. To unwind, he had said, but he was probably going to be a little too anxious to do much unwinding.
He tried not to be too nervous as they headed into the bar, and once he had his drink, he was a little more at ease. Being in her presence usually put him very much at ease, and while that was still the case, he still was a little nervous about discussing potentially taking things to the next step.
"Everythin' looked great on the show tonight, darlin'," he said, smiling at her, "I'm so glad I'm back on the road again so I get to see all your hard work up close. And to see you up close again too. I've missed bein' around you a whole hell of a lot."
the flow of conversation didn’t feel forced or like she was trying to seem normal or talkative to keep the other person from judgement. he just accepted her as she came. so easily another bout of laughter left her, “is that because the bunnies are her family ?! …she looks like a bunny,” mused the red head teasingly.
courtney knew how some people saw her or experienced her. she had, even just at work in the last few years, had to apologise for coming off too strong or …for lack of better words a bitch. there was kindness, there was a sweet and loyal woman under it all. just guarded. she had built it out of necessity. “a real man wouldn’t,” she complimented with a gentle grin. secure in himself and that was a turn on in and of itself.
“cute,” she hummed as his hand settled on top of hers. “all in,” she repeated with a genuinely amused giggled. “that was clever … i hate that it made me laugh,” no she didn’t at all it was charming and endearing if anything.

the facade she put on, both in her real and professional life, seemed to thin around his sincerity. her smile not once fading, “well as long as they’re leaving your flowers alone…” fingertips barely circling the lip of her glass. “sounds like we ain’t got an enemy.”
the truth was courtney was very much a fleeting image in a lot of people’s lives. she was quiet and kept to herself, stoic and could come across rather harsh -she had learned from a young age to depend solely on herself. now it seemed beyond her flaws, or so she thought, someone saw through them and saw her. the same grin on her face fell lopsided and awkwardly charming. “i’m real surprised i haven’t scared you off…” her tone was playful enough but the words rang true.
licking over her lips she nodded her head slowly, “you’re almost too sweet to exist,” giggled the red head. “i think i wouldn’t mind giving this a shot actually …”

her flattery was honest and not easily given out. it was the kind of thing she would only express if she meant it and she knew he knew that about her.
her laughter came out guttural and loud, shaking her head as her fingertips brushed over her lips to quite herself. "just gotta make sure they're not using this time for sabotage," muses courtney.
the red head was indeed used to compliments, but it seemed those compliments never were surrounding her confidence or innate strength. normally that scared people off of her ... she was direct and she knew that could off putting.
"really?" there was sincere shock in her tone as she peered up at the taller man. "see now you're the one who's charming me," she uttered bringing her glass to her lips as she took a needed sip of the bitter alcohol.
"you mean you wanna make me your girlfriend...." her smirk evident as she kept her eyes locked on stephen.

the energy of the locker room upon his return was lively and excitable. nothing she didn't expect, he was kind and respectful and easy to get along with. the exact opposite of the guys she'd previously kept around her.
He was worthy of the complementaries, one of the few men she'd met that seemed sincerely humble. sometimes a little too humble for his own good if you asked courtney. but it was endearing, it was sweet.
her head tilted back in a small bout of laughter, more genuine than the masked chuckles she used as a buffer in real life. "no shit cowboy," muses the red head giving the blonde a light and playful shove of the arm. "who wouldn't miss ya'."
but her features perked up at his words, tilting her head to the side as she studied him for a moment. "about us?" she asked, voice low and soft as her lips pursed. "i think you're very sweet and there's not a lot guys like you," her words were genuine as she shuffled in her seat. "not a lot of guys are ... like this with me."

a notoriously busy girl, the type of woman who had her life filled to the brim at every possibility. but there was a slowness, one that was welcome, that eased in around the older man. one she wasn't quite used to feeling. it was fun and it was easy, he came like a needed break between the chaos whenever they were hanging out. so when he offered to take her for drinks after the show, with the whirlwind her month was already shaping up to be, she agreed easily.
her smile was bright as she peer over her martini glass, cool and collected as she always was. she had a knack at remaining steady at all times, a learned skill.
"thank you," hummed the red head, smooth and flirty tone. brows raising as she sat up a little straighter.
"i think everyones happy to have you back," she said sincerely as that smile softly fell into a smirk. "yeah ? well now you're finally back with us it'll be a hell of a lot easier to be around me..."
monday meeting done and dusted and thank god i am not a travel coordinator because holy fuck that's a lot of flights and rooms we're booking for All in ...
i don't know how you do it, being in front of a crowd is like my worst nightmare. well ... pretty hard to not flatter you, since when do they make guys without flaws these days ??
monday meeting done and dusted and thank god i am not a travel coordinator because holy fuck that's a lot of flights and rooms we're booking for All in ...
It's not whether she cares to keep your secret for you its more so the fact she doesn't like enough people to go spilling your secrets over town. However if she does not like you and knows something and she's with someone she does actually like … that is gossip central.
2. is your muse skilled at using technology?
Nerdy about it actually. She knows how to use almost any kind of technology inside out, her life runs on technology, her job runs on technology. She was the kid in school who was practicing coding on her tumblr blog.
3. how skilled is your muse at communication?
At work? There is not anyone else like her.
in real life? Not great at all.
Checking her work phone is like second nature, being available to her coworkers is easy.
Replying to her personal texts and maintaining real life connections is something she's still working on. Awkward and blunt she can come across rather off putting at times and though she's never meaning to be rude or mean her directness can read that way.
4. who would your muse consider their best friend?
Her schedule.
5. are there any fears your muse still holds from childhood?
Losing her mother when she was a teenager has left a lot of emotional scarring on her. She's become even more reserved since then, not sure how to really heal from losing the one person who understood her. That never judged her. Her best friend.
Courtney has this detachment from connection ever since and letting someone in only to possibly (probably) lose them is a hurdle she has been facing for 10 years.
6. what is something that ticks your muse off, no matter what?
Walking in puddles, cheap fabric, badly made shoes, people being late, people being too early, the sound a rooster makes in the morning, the smell of cigarette smoke, the smell of fish, loud talkers, people who talk too softly, the colour yellow, the feeling of socks slipping down in your shoes, wet socks, being woken up before your alarm but you haven't got enough time before your alarm goes off to go back to bed so you just have to be up a little earlier, no reception to check her emails, no caller ID phonecalls ….you want me to continue ??
7. what clothes does your muse feel most comfortable in? why?
She needs to be dressed and dressed well at all times. Even her workout gear and pj's are well made sets. She feels most comfortable in well made and well tailored clothing.
8. how many fights has your muse been a part of? how did they fare? (for canon characters, consider fights outside of the ring)
Has threatened to call her dads lawyer at the prospect of someone trying to fight her. Has not ever fought. Will not ever fight.
9. does your muse have any nervous habits? (biting lip, fidgeting, etc.)
Not so much a nervous habit but if the room feels weird or she feels uncomfortable or 'nervous' she will just walk out of the room without another word.
10. how often does your muse find themselves daydreaming? what about?
Doesn't have time for it, doesn't believe in daydreaming. She thinks it’s a waste of time and with how busy she is floating off with her imagination just seems irresponsible. Honestly her actual dreams are probably about work.
11. how often does your muse cry? do they cry silently, privately, or out in the open?
Courtney couldn't tell you the last time she cried.
Has on one occasion scheduled in a crying session, firmly believes she doesn't have time for it.
12. what is a lesson your muse’s parent(s)/guardian taught them that they still hold onto?
You live and die with yourself, the most important person to look out for is you.
13. is your muse proficient at any musical instruments? how long did it take them to learn?
Parents paid for violin lessons when she was a kid … couldn't play a single song still to this day.
14. does your muse prefer cooler or warmer weather? how does the heat/cold affect them?
Cold weather. She prefers the autumn/winter time of year. Big fabulous coats and the ability to dive into her extensive boot collection. She is a winter girl through and through. Rich aunt at the skii lodge.
15. does your muse know how to cook? what is the most complicated dish they’re able to make?
No and she's never actually needed to learn, she had a nanny growing up who made all her meals and now in her twenties she's a notorious food delivery girl. Sometimes all three meals.
16. is your muse argumentative? if not, what is a topic they feel strongly enough about to argue for?
Yes and she does think she's right 9 out of 10 times regardless of what the other person is saying. She is blunt, she is smart and she is very very self confident and self assured. She will argue with you until she's blue in the face if the other person is just as argumentative as herself.
