His right servo held the Metal Wind Chimes (he fmanaged to find them). He walked for a while and saw the building he was looking for. He also found the ones he was looking for.

"Hello? You two are Outlier and Flintlock, right?" the racer asked cautiously as he approached the building.

Outlier quickly whipped out his gun, taking cover behind his older brother, Flintlock.

"WHO ARE YA?!?! STATE YER BUSINE- ouh are those wind chimes? Wait, who told ya 'bout this place? Yer not that paparazzi Record was talkin' 'bout, right?"

"Slow yer roll there, Outs. He dun' look like he's tryna harm no one. What's yer name, fella?"

Flintlock pushed down the barrel of Outlier's gun, a signal to stand down. His brother grumbled under his breath in response.

Silver Racer was ready to dodge or draw his dagger, but fortunately, his reflexes didn't kick in right away, so he didn't have time to do anything bad. Honestly, he thought he was done for. Although, to be honest, he was surprised to see Outlier standing behind Flintlock with the gun.

"Name's Silver Racer. Sorry I didn't introduce myself right away. And let me reassure you, I'm not a paparazzi. Although, Record did tell me about you two and where you live. Record also said hi to you two." The racer introduced himself, calming down a bit. He was curious about the paparazzi part, though, since the DJ hadn't mentioned it to him.

"Oh, by the way, pal, this is for you." He held out a servo with Metal Wind Chimes to Outlier.

"Oh, Record told ya bout us? I s'pose ya can come in. Just don't touch nothin' if ya don't know what it does. This place's been reinforced with booby traps up th' wazoo ever since that zombie outbreak.."

Outlier stepped back to let Silver Racer in, taking the chimes and attaching them to his tail.

"Nice t' meetcha! 'M Outlier, th' bigger twin, thank ya very much. I was very much vertically blessed unlike m' brother 'ere."

"'M two feet shorter than ya, dipshit."

"Still shorter! Yer basically a gnome, just admit it!"

Flintlock grabbed Outlier's audial fin and tugged on it, dragging the latter down to his level.

"Keep talkin' like that n' I'll turn ya int' one-"

"Nice to meet you too-" he said, cautiously entering the house. Hearing about traps and a zombie apocalypse surprised him a little. He wanted to ask what Outlier was talking about, but saw the two twins talking rather loudly. Racer glanced around and noticed that the traps were well-made.

"Did you both make these traps yourselves?" he asked the twins curiously.

"We did. Fer th' sake o' drivin' off any cops or humans who got a little too curious. If ya ask me how many humans have died tryna come in here, yer gettin' jack shit from me."

Flint's optics narrowed, as if he were on the defense.

"Trust me, pal, that's one thing I WOULDN'T ask. So you can relax about that," Silver Racer said, trying to remain calm, though he was privately wondering why Flint thought he'd even ask that. And honestly, he didn't want to know.

"They're well made, by the way." The racer complimented them both on the traps, as calmly as he could, but still retained a hint of surprise.

Flint sat himself down on a stool and pulled out a bottle. The scent alone made it obvious that it was high grade.

"Unless ya don't drink high grade."

"Well...to be honest, I haven't had anything like this before. I used to race a lot, and I still do, so I need to take care of my health," Silver Racer admitted awkwardly, but he didn't want to seem rude. He found a place to sit.

"But on the other servo, I don't think one glass will do much harm. So I'll give it a try."

He hopes this won't lead to problems.

A frantic voice yelled from outside the cowboy's range. It banged on the door to startle the two into a sense of urgency. Between screams came the roaring of a monster. The screaming got louder until Outlier stepped towards the door.

As the door opened, a bear trap clamped down on his arm. A pained scream followed by the cowboy being tackled to the ground. Claws tore into this chassis, causing fuel to spill out. Outlier could only lay there nearly lifeless as the cardbot started licking the blood from the slipped wounds.

It was over. Flintlock watched as the light faded from his brother's optics. The tears, the pained gasps..

He had no time to grieve, though. That thing was armed and dangerous. He picked up Outlier's claymore that fell out of it's sheath and made a run for it out of the back door. He had to find the others before they suffered the same fate as his brother.
